  Do dreams mean anything?

  i don't normally put a lot of stock in dreams having great importance.

  it's extremely rare that i have nightmares and also not uncommon for me to go days or weeks without dreaming at all, at least that i'm aware of when i wake up the next morning.. what does it mean to have recurring dreams in which i'm back at home living with my parents and in the dubs?

  last night i had a particularly disturbing one in which i was back home with my family in the home we lived in way back before i was 12 and in the dream for some reason that never came up i was going to be killed and they didn't care.

  KD....that's an intresting idea but.....how can a nightmare dub dream be a personal message? From whom does a dog when dreaming.......get a message?

  Well, would you agree that the dream is something you relate too. Something that conjures up certian emotions? I ask, as I have often found that dreams about the JW's and even ones about long ago events, tend to lead to other thinking and other thoughts I needed to address in life.

  As for the dog, they do think too ... about what? I would never know.

  i don't know much about you but iw as wondering have you ever thought abotu writting a book of some sort?

  you seem to have good structure in your words.

  i'm not talking about a bible thing..but just a book...i'd buy it.

  It has been something I have thought about. I just do not have much time, and I can never figure out what to write about. I think I would favor some sort of fiction if I did. Thanks for the compliment. I think everyone has a book or two in their minds.

  I feel that dreams can have many meaning to us. Some can be our mind resolving certain issues, that are bouncing around in our subconscious. Some can just be a vision of hopes and dreams, or perhaps reliving sadness and dispair. I also think they can be a door way into solutions that perhaps we were able to think about better at the Alpha and Theta brain wave levels, our brain dreams at. In all though, I think dreams are personal messages meant for us. In that they speak to us on our own level. Books that say this image means this and that image means that, are taking away from the imagination of the personal mind to realize what it means on its own. Like I said in a earlier post, we speak to ourselves threw images often.

  Do you trust your instincts?

  its strange most of my life i have always gone with my instincts and they have proved most valueble, for instance i seem to sense things that will happen on a daily basis and most of the time my instincts are right.. like today i knew my landlord was going to evict me so he could renovate his house and i was right, today i got call to say he,s given us notice to leave.. also few years back i got robbed, and for some strange reason i knew my so called best friend did it,and days later i found out he had robbed me.. i seem to pick up a vibe from somewhere almost as if someones telling me something thats happening or going to happen.

  its strange it must be some kind of sixth sense.

  why didnt it work though when i was fooled by jws.

  I sometimes think with the advancement of technology we have allow our left brain to win. I also think we start to let outside sources do the thinking for us and thus loss the imagination of our right brain. Some of my post peaceful and thought provoking moments can be when I am sitting in the woods next to a mountain lake, with the most advance piece of technology being the matches I will use to make a fire.

  The people of old really had something extra in their thinking, that I feel we lost as a culture. They relied more on their senses, and they learned to listen to the inner thoughts and images their mind sent them through nature. I think the advancement of man will have a lot to do with backing up and figuring out what was left along the way.

  Does God Deceive Us?An Answer

  i've read what joe alward wrote.if he's an atheist,i can see why he won't trust the bible.i mean after all,he has done the one major thing most folks why try to tear the bible apart to prove absolutely nothing.

  by taking a verse out of content and not reading the next verse can mean anything for anyone.i mean the watchtower does it all the time.

  example: ezekiel 20:25,"therefore i also gave them up to statutes that were not good,and judgments by which they could not live.

  If you do not believe the Bible is the word of God? Does that make you a Atheist?

  What if for example you left Christianity, and started studying eastern religion and then Pagan religions. Then you ended up finding a liking in the philosophies of Shamanism and Wicca. Does that make you a Atheist?

  I ask, as I think their are many definitions of God and I know that I do not hold to the one that says God is a man sitting on a thrown and speaking through a book he had people write 1000's of years ago. Yet at the same time, I do not classify myself as a Atheist. I only see myself as someone who sees the image of a god different than others.

  Would you agree?

  I think each mind speaks its on language through images, and if we take the time to examine it. We fine tune that instinct. I think people who see in images naturally have a natural advantage, but I feel everyone has the ability if they work on it.

  The real trick is translating and learning the language of the subconscious mind.

  Kind of works off the principles of "ki" energy, when people are charged to change your life in their mind, you sometimes feel the direction of their energy as it penetrates your life before they even say anything. The change or attention has a vibrational feel to it that can be transform into instincts or images that make sense to you and you alone.

  Then again, to some what I just said is a load of crap. :)

  can the marriage work

  is it even remotly possible that a marriage can work if the wife is a jw and the husband who has been one for over 30 years is on his way out.

  is there any advice on how this can work or is it just doomed for divorce!!!!

  i love my wife and kids but she's not handeling this very well at all.

  It will work if you both want it to and try to make it work. If it is just one trying and the other giving up, then nothing is going to make it work.

  Bush , Modern Jehu

  when i read this stuff, i think perhaps he think he is a moderns jehu, who going to take care of all eveal things on earth, like saddam.. bush and white house staff workers have bible study: president bush talks openly and proudly about his active spiritual faith, and 25-55 of the 1700 white house staffer workers meet weekly at hour-long prayer and bible study sessions which bush aides organized before he became president of the usa.

  one group meets during lunch hour tuesdays, the other on thursdays.

  attendance is voluntary and although christian, non-christians are welcome.
