  Question for Dogpatch (Randy): What will it cost to produce the new 16-page Watchtower & Awake?

  when literature used to be sold d2d, i remember how the society never missed an opportunity to trash other religions for "peddling god's word for profit" while boasting about how the watchtower only charges for the cost of the paper and ink.. in the book "witnesses of jehovah", the author mentioned that randall watters used to be involved in print cost analysis and determined that, while we were selling wt & awake mags for 20 cents door-to-door, it was really only costing the society 4 cents per copy to produce.

  that's a whopping 400% profit!.

  obviously, things have changed... the paper is different, as well as the ink and printing methods in general.

  Alfred,

  It is a fairly easy buisness model to see once you see it. I just scaled it down from realestate to office equipment. To be honest, If they offered me 10% for this idea (which they would not) I would not want their filthy money. I also would not put it past them to try this. The WT will bleed the people any way they can. I feel most sorry for people who have been belivers their whole life, just to get kicked to the curb when they start to figure out the truth about "the truth".

  Here is where I think the WT is going:

  1. get all articles on line.

  2. Give each cong. a loan to get a color printer.

  3. have Congs. print on demand, and pay for the paper and ink themselves.

  4. have congs. pay back the loan on the printer.

  5. deem the printer inadaquate, force the congs. to take out another loan for a new printer, and then the WT will pick up the old one free of charge (and sell it on Ebay).

  Wash, rinse, repeat.

  The Plantiffs have pondered this question. No answer is forthcoming. It is as if they have gone down the rabbit hole. What they will find at the end they do not know. One option discussed if they were to win a judgement, and retain ownership of the KH would be to sell it and split the $2m amoung the origional 70 or so MP Congregation. From their if the congregant want to donate their $2.8K to the WT, that's on them. If they wanted to pay down a car loan with that money that would be their choice as well. After all it is the MP Cong that bought and paid for the hall, it should be theirs to do with as they please.

  Back from dream land the reality is that the KH is lost to the WT no matter the out come of the court cases. The Plantiffs don't know what they will do. they havn't really wanted to think about it. Win or loose, they think they may have to enter a witness protection program. They also think they may write a book.

  They continue this fight because there is nothing else to do. They have been Jehovah's Witnesses their whole life. They hold out hope that perhaps the etireity of Bethel is not corrupt. perhaps there are a few who are true to Jehovah. The one's that are perpitrating this crime need to be removed from the temple. Since all of their letters to the WT went un-answered, they assumed that what ever nefarious agents are working back there, are in control of the mail system as well as the phone system and would not let the letters and calls get through to the GB.

  They keep fighting because there is nothing else to do. This is much more then just this one KH. They have uncovered low level money laundering, and RICO Act violations. The stakes have been raised in the new case in federal court. The new case is focused less on the WT and more on the banks, and the clearks who have consistantly "Lost" documents, Set court dates that never take place in reality, but some how show up on the court calender expost facto as having taken place when in fact the Plantiffs actually went to the court house on the day schedualed, and found a dark court room. There have been blatant alterations of deposisions, and even court transcripts. There have been clearks handeling this case who are JW's in leage with the Defence Attourney who have a legal obligation to recuse them selves but do not. There is even a judge (Judge Ryu)involved who had a legal obligation to recuse herself, but she did not. When asked about this Judge Ryu said: "The law is not ment to be taken literaly, and is open to interpretation." When asked about a cleark stamping DENIED on a motion to compell filed by the plantiffs which Judge James asked them to file, Judge Ryu replied: "I don't read every document that crosses my desk and my cleark signs a lot of things for me. This is normal."

  Win or loose, this is less about the Elders who were removed, and more about exposing the truth about what they have been told their whole life was "the truth". They know that they are as good as DF'd, but that does not matter to them. For years they have acted as shepards of what was a warm loving congregation. They continue the fight, not to help them selves, but to right a wrong, or atleast expose a wrong that has been commited against a people that they have known and loved for many years.

  The borg created a coporation called "the English Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, Menlo Park, California Inc." Then apointed the RWC elders as BOE of this new Corporation. Then Commited fraud by claiming (in writing to the sec of state) that the Board of Directors of the Menlo Park Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses Inc. has met and agreed to change it's name to "the English Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, Menlo Park California Inc."

  When submitting the paperwork for the name change, they listed them selves as the BOE. They then proceeded to put their name on the deed. The Menlo Park Police considered this grand theft of $2.2M before they were bribed and looked the other way.

  The Menlo Park kingdom hall was privately financed by a wealthy brother. The loan to this brother was paid off in 2008, and the deed was then held free and clear by The Menlo Park Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses Inc.

  The Watch Tower, then sent Kohler to convince the MP Elders to accept a loan from the WT so that they could re-model the MP KH (So that the WT could get the deed). The MP Elders were happy with the KH the way it was and told them so.

  The WT removed the Elders. Un Fortunantly for the WT, the elders never installed the corporate by laws, therefore the Menlo Park Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses Inc. falls under California Corporate law. California Corporate law does not stipulate that the Board of Executives be elders, or even JW's for that matter, so the WT had no legal right to remove them.

  Basically, the Local MP congregation bought and paid for the MP KH. the value of the MP KH and property is now about $2.5M. It does not need to be remodeled, but the WT insisted. The elders refused.

  That does not supprise me at all. There is a JW clerk in the CA court it Redwood City that tried to convince Jason not to file his State Court case. This individual is known to be good friends with Defendent Brede who served as an Elder it the RWC congregation where this clerk attended. From a Legal standpoint, this clerk should recuse herself from handeling any of the issues with regard to this case, but she has not. In fact she has been activley spying for Smith, miss handeling schedualing court dates, and perhaps even "loosing" fileings.

  When exactly does a Conspiricy Theroy stop being a theroy? That line is getting blered.
