WHAT DO JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES DO ON CHRISTMAS DAY ?

we ways went on the menastry !.

this was always a waist of time on xmas day, but you know what we always has a full turkey dinner after getting back from the door knocking.. i live in the uk at the moment but will soon move to alberta in canada, what did your jw family do on xmas day did you have family over etc... .

this year we had nobody.

We ways went on the menastry ! The one year this guy offered us a drink of cider at the door, my dad changed the subject fast..

This was always a waist of time on xmas day, but you know what we always has a full turkey dinner after getting back from the door knocking.

I live in the UK at the moment but will soon move to Alberta in Canada, what did your JW family do on XMAS day did you have family over etc..

This year we had nobody my dad and all jw mongs hate us. We moved away to Tamworth in the UK but now the move to Canada is for our kids. In the UK there are no jobs for school leavers and when they graduate from university the only jobs are at KFC paying £5.25 per hour!

I have had alook what Alberta are paying a shop worker or customer service person and it's in UK pounds £18- 25 k per year. These wages are far above the UK rate so it's time to get the $uck out of here..

my job skills are well in demand in alberta canada so that's our next move, we are getting out of the uk sinking ship asap, we have family in alberta who will sponsor us so i think it's time to leave and make a new start for our kids, as their aren't no jobs in the uk for them now even with university qualifications behind them.

Thanks clarity, are you from vancouver ? I am aware that this is the warmest place in Canada. We will be all landing in Vancover. I have a job with the police and fire service communications department and will be on a $60.000 / $90.000 canadian dollars a year. This is because I have very high security clearence in the UK to start with... Military and Secret clearence etc.. I have had to sign the official secrets act in the UK. I will inform you all when we land but may not be able to give anymore info about where we live etc.. or mobile numbers as I will be subject to nationial security restrictions once I arrive in Vancouver..

I will remain on JWN though and keep you updated with our progress on getting out of the UK

Thanks for the info ziddina, Sleeping beauty has her cousin staying from Edmonton Alberta for a few days and we have been made well aware of the -40c in the winter! by her. In the UK we would be all messed up by these temperatures but you all just carry on as normal so lets just go and get out of the UK now !

Yes forgot to mention I have a job offer from Telus in Alberta, so the visa may not take that long to come through, I also have another one from ATI Telecom in Vancouver The UK is going under and it's time to get out...

We have 4 kids, he ain't going to see them before the grim reaper comes lookin for him He was just at the Coventry DC, and he contacted me to say he can't have nothing more to do with us, unless it's a family emergency! Well this is a family emergency as I am out of work and money is tight right now. We are having to choose between having the lights on or putting food on the table it's that bad at the moment in the UK.

My daughter knows loads of them and the only job they can get is in KFC or Mac Donalds.. What a waist of talent, and another thing the wages a skilled worker in the UK can ask for is below the poverty line in Alberta Canada. The skilled visa application has been done. Get us out of this dumpping ground for eu immigrants who have driven the wages down and took all the school leavers jobs.

My JW dad will not be told when we go or my ashole of a brother in Coleshill West Midlands, the only one to be told will be my DF brother in Knowle Solihull. This sad but when family who are still JW cut you off then I do the same to them! Up yours you know who you are ! See you in hell

Another example of this is Kingshurst congregation hall that did not needed revamp, Kingsghurst congregation in the West Midlands circut Birmingham UK. The hall was just all payed for and all of a sudden it needed a complete rebuild even though it was less than 25 years old They owned the hall and the land with it but were fooled into taking another £66k loan out with the WTBTS in the UK for a complete rebuild despite falling numbers at every meeting and a lack of elders taking the lead. What fools they are to sign away their hall to the WT

Thanks Cantleave! Remember when you could take plastic sheets and the kitchen sink and set up camp on the terraces at the DC'S. And if the kids got a bit restless you could walk around the ground and the under cover parts aswell, well you ain't allowed to do that anymore are we.. No bacon bap either. Nothing left to go for then it's all a money making meeting for the WT.

I’ll tell ya what I want back, truly. I want to have those years back with my two nephews and my niece that were taken away from me after I left the Watchtower cult way back in 1982 (the JW shunning practice). I want the time back over the last 25 years to have had a real sister (my only sibling) to go and share my personal struggles and triumphs with, instead of a sister who was mentally disabled by a mind twisting cult (and useless to me), like the Watchtower Society. I’d like to have back all the wasted time I spent growing up a JW (not by my choice), all the while having my mind deluded and controlled. I’d like to have those early years back to enjoy birthdays and Christmas’s and all the other normal things JW's aren’t allowed to enjoy or take part of because of some stupid so called “pagan origin” asinine hypocritical Watchtower induced phobia. I’d like to have back all the normal (non-JW) friends I didn’t get to meet and enjoy to spend time with. I’d like to go back in time and NOT be ridiculed for not saying the pledge of allegiance. I’d like to have back the countless hour sitting at the K’Hall listening to mind numbing irrelevant to a little kid adult babble, so I could now have memories of doing the fun things normal kids do growing up. These are just a few things I would like to have back that I lost being raised a JW, and that ain’t tongue and cheek. I mean it. These things were stolen form me. Where can I fill out the police report to get back my cherished possessions? Answer: No where. I have been violated with no recourse. All I can do is post warnings to others to avoid and stay away from this cult. And so I do ...

The governing body should have a price on their head for messing up so many families Glad my dad got soaking wet at the Coventry DC today. It pissed it down.. lol
