Oh I see, so if you swing down to the local hardware store to buy a new mower, it will probably come with a solar panel so that you can recharge it overnight.

Question: Where are people getting the power to charge the lawnmower?

So it is a ban on the SALE of small gasoline powered engines, not the USE of them.
California - get ready for the next cartel vertical: lawn mowers and leaf blowers.

What Should Have Been Their "Surname" or "Last Name"?
by titch inok, folks, so here's my question.
now then, assuming that you believe that there was an actual first man and a first woman, as the bible propounds, that had the name of "adam" and "eve" (as we have called them, in the english language) well, what do you think that their surname or last name would have been, or should have been?
that is, if they had surnames way back then, in the so-called "beginning" of human existence?

Does the Watchtower/JW Organization Regard its Readers & JWs as Fools and are they Secretly Laughing at Them?
by Disillusioned JW indoes the watchtower/jw organization regard its readers & jws as fools and are they secretly laughing at them?
for some examples consider the following.. the wt literature has many times used odd language where they say one thing but word it in such a way as to suggest something else.
they have said that a number of jws drew incorrect expectations about a number of things, including about 1914 and 1975, though it was the wt itself which proclaimed and taught those expectations in the wt's literature to jws.

Isn't this "gaslighting"?
I don't think so. But you get into gaslighting territory when they deny they've made the change you just saw them make - which they've done a few IMHO.

The "Regular Pioneer" title has now become a total joke
by pistolpete inwe just had our co visit a few weeks ago.
apparently, he was encouraging all who could to regular pioneer, to at least try it out for a year.
because of this, we had a few people in our hall become one.. so this weekend we were on zoom service, and the sister that was just appointed was talking about it.

@Disillusioned JW:
Interesting. In other words, you are asking to what extent does the GB engage in trollery?
GB meeting notes:
- So what new light should we write about now?
- Uggg I don't know. I'm tired of these guys always wanting "new light". Just forking read the Bible and stop forking your friend's wife, right?
- Yeah, sometimes they seem pretty clueless and dependant. *sigh*... Hey I got an idea, let's print something crazy to see how far it goes!
- Isn't that dangerous?
- Nah, we can always roll it back.
- Hey, what if we tell them that the generation is really.. like three generations.
- Wtf? You mean like three in one?
- Yeah, lol. They don't buy the Trinity, but they'll probably tie themselves in knots to believe this. The generation that will not pass away is both one generation and three in the same sense at the same time.
- Write it up! This aught to be good. I'm off to the liquor store.
- Make sure you cross state lines - we don't need to pay these bull shirt taxes.
Official meeting notes:
- GB prayerfully considered new light on the generation spoken of by Jesus.

What Do You Like About Biden's Build Back Better Agenda & the Democrat's Build Back Better Act?

@Disillusuoned JW:
The plan, all the spending, is based on the philosophy that really good things come from the government. In reality, markets are the best coordinator. The farther you stray from the markets, the more waste, bubbles, anger, resource squandering you get.
It has gone too far as it is - and some think (as you state) it isn't going far enough. The push along this philosophical line will cause more and more dysfunction until there is a crisis.
And of course, markets will get the blame - either from the ignorant or the malevolent.
