Today trolley = COVID, switch = lockdowns. Except the problem is a bit different. The track forks, and if the switch is activated (no lockdown) the trolley moves to a track with one person on it, often referred to as “grandma”, destined for death. But on the other track, there seems to be nobody. The track is clear. The choice seems obvious. But if you look a few miles down the track, out of the current view, there’s several million lined up ready for slaughter, just out of the view at the moment.

with the opposing sides thinking, perhaps obama, bush clinton and carter could have their records reviewed and face the political punishment of impeachment and conviction after their presidency ended too?.

So, it’s just like the flu. Get a vaccine, virus mutates, some people still get it. Some people still die, even some young people. But we don’t shut down society and the economy for the flu.

What to do with old publications

it's been a while since i posted here, but i feel like posting again.. it's hard sometimes to find the energy to post here after i expend all my time working a full time job and pretending i care about the wt$ at the same time.. i've been trying to slowly wake my girlfriend up ever since i first posted here, and i must say it is a long waiting game that i am playing right now.
almost all my efforts are dismissed and i've been slowly losing hope.. anyways, what i meant to really post here today is about old publications.. honestly anything that has to do with the watchtower and jdubs, as of recently makes me feel like vomiting.

When I left, I literally had a closet full of old Watchtower and Awake magazines, as well as books. Most were gathering dust, as the WT Library was just a lot easier than books.
I kept them all, and slowly used them as fire starters for the fire place and campfires. I remember waking up to many cold morning at the campsite, grabbing a few Watchtower magazines, small sticks. They warmed my heart .... literally as I used them to brew camp coffee.
I love camp coffee.

Look, I have no problem with that. We can talk about hobbies, fishing, chess, religion, or whatever. It’s a forum. But my guess is that politics will continue to come up because the left is marching ever leftward. It’s going to touch a bunch of us like it’s our eyeball.

I watched the video above. Hassan conflates political views with a cult, just because, for a while, the movement which embodied those political views had a leader. Ever since Hassan was on Rogan and claimed that Molyneaux was a cult leader, I started to think he wasn't quite being rigorous with his definitions. He was playing fast and loose with a concept that does have a specific meaning. Hassan claimed Molyneaux was a cult, and then slowly as Rogan passively questioned him, pushed back a little, he changed his position, contradicted himself, claimed he didn't know too much about the details of his claims, but still decided he was a cult leader. I mean, this stuff matters. If anyone is going to go around saying people are in a cult, that person should be able to address those claims without the appeal to emotion and subjective terminology.
It has to be more than "Because I don't agree".
Hassan defines "cult" like the left defines "racism" - the definition is way too general and subjective.
As the guy on the video said: So they think that now Trump is gone, all the Trump supports will "wake up", we can be deprogrammed, and join their political side. Idiots.
I'll say it again - it was never about Trump. I watched some of the inauguration on YouTube. Just a scroll through the comments, most were restating the Trump's statement: "They're not after me, they're after you. I'm just in the way." It is about policy.
