The Coronavirus Is Trump’s Fault!
by minimus inyes, it’s donald trump’s problem and he has no idea of how to take care of this!
and he gets his vp mike pence to oversee this situation.
donald trump doesn’t care about who could get this virus.

Do we actually know the death rate of this thing yet? Not sure if undoctored official stats have been released? Or are we waiting for it to establish itself where the government won’t actively try to suppress the seriousness (or non-seriousness) of this virus? -

Do Any Of You Still Think Trump Was Working With The Russians?
by minimus init seems some people still maintain that trump will try to get help from the russians “again”..

No less than the US intelligence agencies have confirmed Russia's attempt at influence of US elections.
Yeah, that doesn’t help your case. The US intelligence agencies, all 9 billion of them, have historically been incorrect at best, and partisan at worst. Sorry, but did you see the Comey incidents? You actually believed Clapper when he said 17 intelligence agencies agree, later to be downgraded to 3? The same guy working at CNN now??! I can’t trust these institutions now.
Nevertheless, they could convince me easily. I’m open to it. All I need is evidence. Show me the evidence. Solid IT evidence. I admit, there is the possibility Russians were in the DNC server, sure. Then again, it could have been some other party. To me, it’s a 50% probability right now. Need evidence... That’s it. The evidence can’t be “the government said so”. Especially when what they said doesn’t make sense.. like: ‘We never examined the server but we know for sure who did this.’

Why Did Obama win the Nobel Peace Prize in 2009?
by JW_Researcher inwhile even non-peaceful people have been awarded the peace prize (e.g.
arafat, kissinger), i am confused as to how obama could possibly have won the award one year after being the first term junior senator from illinois with zero “peace” experience (other than his ‘well-articulated’ rhetoric)..
reading the obama-pining on a couple of posts made me reexamine my view of barry’s presidency..

I believe it was more for what Obama represented than anything specific he had accomplished, other than being elected President.
Sweet. So we can all drop the white privilege stuff?

@recovering:
Mean me mustard sometimes you make me shake.myhead at your refusal to effect facts. You minimize what has been proven if it does not fit your agenda.
*sigh*. Right. So, let’s try it. What exactly do you perceive my agenda to be? What are the “facts” that have been “proven”? And by what evidence?
Let’s do it. Let’s talk about Crowdstrike. Let’s talk about the IC releasing reports without any examination of the DNC server. Let’s talk the CozyBear and FancyBear, the patterns they used, how all that connects. Let’s talk about OnionDuke, the metadata on the files, how it can be changed. Let’s talk about the file time stamps and how they indicate a transfer rate higher than the internet capacity at the time... Let’s talk about Guccifer, and finally how WikiLeaks denies Russia as the source.
Just as proof of how powerful Facebook political Influences can be we just need to look to the Arab spring. It changed the face of mideast politics . Look at how many middle eastern countries where involved in either civil wars or the to changes in rulership during this period.
Yeap, that’s how it happened... USA ran $100K of ads and before we knew it, Arab Spring. We are all just a bunch or morons browsing Faceplant and believing everything there. #Projection

That the Russians were able to hack media that influence public opinion in regards to voting.
The only “interference” I’ve seen proven is a few hundred thousand dollars of Facebook advertisements. That was in 2016. Give me a break. That isn’t what I would call interference.
For 2020, do tell, how are they interfering? More Facebook ads? Do you have an example?

Why do Americans have to pay so much for College???
by RubaDub ini know there is a huge college/university lobby here in the us that lives off of students paying, in some cases, enormous amounts of money just to attend.. putting politics aside, if that is possible, (and i am not a bernie sanders guy by any means), but how can we pay for pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, elementary school, junior high, high school, and then throw a huge debt to someone who wants to continue learning?
can't the us (public and state universities) afford four more years for young people to get on a career path without having to, in some cases, take out a mortgage/loan more than the cost of some homes?
then, (and nothing against immigrants, i am married to one), but then the us has to "import" students from other countries to fill the needs that we should be supplying here.

Exactly. Google is now hiring more self-taught developers than developers with a degree.
Since a degree is worth less than before, you might imagine the cost would fall with demand... except it’s not. Demand isn’t falling. Why not?
Hint: The answer begins with “G” and ends with “overnment”.

@hybridous:
Exactly. Employers want competence. Don’t blame them (which was the argument) for increased college prices. It’s not their fault.

@Rules and Regulations:
Yes, those fields require competence. The fact that they don’t require a college degree only bolsters my point. You understood what I was saying, right?
