  a landowner has agreed unconditionally to sell her rundown car breakers yard to jehovahs witnesses for their new uk headquarters, it emerged this week.. the international bible students association (ibsa) paid a deposit, agreed a final price and swapped contracts with charmaine small this month for temple farm in ship road, west hanningfield.. ms small has promised the ibsa the charity used by the religious sect to distribute its literature that dozens of car dealers will vacate the 50-acre farm over the next few months.. speaking to the chronicle, stephen morris, of the ibsa branch relocation department, said...(read full article here ).

  according to this all assets in 2008 were valued at $400,000,000.

  o m g...(yes that is a very childish reaction...but i couldn't think of a more appropriate expression!).

  if you haven't yet read it...please do so..... it is so ridiculous!

  so leading, so distorted, and full of "bait and switch" techniques.. "prove you have the truth"..by seeing how neutral witnesses were in war times?

  Yes, "True Religion" is an oxymoron!

  And yes, the wts acts as if it owns the word "truth". I agree-nobody can own the truth or lose it or leave it or come into it. Its cultspeak!

  i agree with the witnesses about almost nothing, but i do think they have the right idea when it concerns the 'soul'.

  it is my belief that there is no such entity as a 'soul' that resides in a human being.

  the idea originated in ancient, pre-scientific eras.

  Awake! to be part of Watchtower Public Edition!

  this was posted on a jw site and it would be nice if we could verify.. .. .. as of february 2015, the awake!

  will come as a part of the watchtower public edition instead of as a separate magazine.

  this is a huge change... with serious cost savings.

  I was thinking too that they may publish JW.org Monthly, as a 32 page magazine instead of the public w and the g.

  But The w is their flagship title, although they could still publish the study edition, the thing is, "JW.org" may not appeal as much to the public, it sounds too jw inclusive. Of course they could publish articles about the GB and each issue the cover could feature a gb member LOL!

  JW.Org may not work well as a magazine name for the public.

  And the w & g have very long histories.

  JW.org. monthly seems like it would be a magazine for witnesses only.
