The Governing Body are Governing Pharisees
by believingxjw inan excerpt from the december 15, 2001 watchtower article, learn from me.. .
""from a study of biblical and secular evidence, we can conclude that the pharisees thought highly of themselves as guardians of the public good and the national welfare.
they were not satisfied that gods law was fundamentally clear and easily understood.

Things you didn't think about before you became a parent
by sabastious ini never had to think about what a massive predicament it is to be watching your 6 month old alone and having a massive dump come along that you know is going to take 10-15 minutes...especially if your child is being really fussy.. -sab.

lets see, today my 4 year old confessed she spilled oatmeal on the floor. I said, did you wipe it up with the papertowel? She said, nope I picked it up off the floor and ate it. This was post eating a booger.
poop, yes I get called in the potty to look at poop. and you still have to help them wipe their butts even when you think they should be able to do it by themselves.
the spontanious kisses and I love you's make me want to bottle them up so they won't get any older. Good times.

How did they know it was recording if it was password locked? When my phone is password locked, it just shows the keypad to unlock it. That certainly is brazen of them to touch your personal property.
I don't think you should say you failed in anything. You did what was right, you stood your ground, and let it be. Now, if they do decide to DF you, in that case, I would definitely let everyone know why. What do you have to lose?
I think it is telling that he said "It is going to take alot longer to reach a decision." To my ears, that means that there was not enough evidence to DF you, but now that you did something sneaky, it might prejudice them and pad the scales the other way and DF you now for recording it.
What did the recording come out like? Did you hear them deliberating?
Hang in there. Life after is pretty sweet. Hopefully you can convince your family as time goes on.

Ladies - Have you ever thought about shaving your head - all off?
by Lady Lee ini've thought about it.
when i first moved to ottawa i knew a woman who had shaved all her hair off and had tattoos all over her head - bizarre but interesting.. a few actresses have done it and they look fabulous although not all do and i doubt most men would love it.. for you fellows that shave bald - why do ou like it.

Not a guy....but from a chick's perspective, if you have a goatee, I do think its pretty sexy. Even without the goatee. If you are losing some hair, the shorter the better for sure.

Avoiding the Meeting
by brotherdan inso, darth plaugeis (or however you spell it) has suggested that the best way to get out of going to the meeting is to tell your wife that it's time to get ready for the meeting, and when her back is turned hit her over the head with a large object.. i'm sure there are better ways to get out of going.
i'm looking for some real ideas here.
" i like the whole getting your wife (or husband) drunk before the meeting so they won't want to go idea.

Your wife sounds alot like me. I can/could relate to being around small kids and wanting to get out of the house, etc. If she is that liberal, and that fun of a gal, I truly think it is only a matter of time! Does she work outside the home? I realize you have a small baby, but what about a part time job? That was my saving grace. I am so glad I never did not work, for me personally it kept my brain from turning to mush. And now I work full time and like my job. But she might do well to have some more influence that way? I really do think it is a matter of time.

I think this news just excites them. Closer to the "end" ya know? I was always a little happy to think about getting banned. It meant no more service, or it would make it so hard, we probably wouldn't have to do much of it.
But in all seriousness, I am not well read on the Russia subject. It makes me wonder though, what is their motivation? Is it because they see the WTBTS as dangerous and they are doing this as a preventative measure to protect people in their eyes? Or is this governmental sanctions based on deep rooted communistic thinking?

So if it is rebuilt, does that mean Jesus was wrong?

Let's see, what did I do to avoid meetings? I would plan busines trips so I could fly out Tuesday night. Aww shucks, have to go to the airport. I would use the kids as excuses, and yes one time when my ex and I were in counseling and trying to make it work I really turned on the charm and initiated some really insane sex session, who can say no to that?
I think you are going to have to slowly trickle this one to her. Let's face it, WHO ACTUALLY ENJOYS the meetings? No one that I know, WHY? Because you cannot tell me a single person is not overjoyed when a meeting gets cancelled because of snow or no power, or an assembly, so there is no meeting. Why is that?
