when they disfellowship someone, how do they have the audacity to say "[name] is no longer one of jehovah's witnesses."?.

being a witness of jehovah is a personal relationship between jehovah and the individual.

only jehovah and the individual know the depth and trueness of the relation that exists between them.

down the sidewalk, chatting away about the magazines omg, how

times have changed! hahahhaa

Look, Marc & Cora are lovely people who have really been pushed

around by wt. This was a spur of the moment decision after Marc

spotted them with their cart, near their home. Must have been the

rush to get it all together & first time jitters I think. Wow, I wouldn't

know what to say, I'd be in a bit of a panic!

A+ for their heartfelt efforts, and work they put into their vids!

Shun Run 2014: Show Courage, Don't Shun

our third annual shun run will be held again at 10am at papago park, tempe, az on saturday, april 12th.

this is a low-key public event that all who wish to see an end to organizational-induced shunning can join in.

lecture room on floor 4 at 2:00pm.. as part of this event, i write a letter to sdb:ssy, the otherwise anonymous jw author who informed me about the df'ing announcement in my case.

i was hoping that there would be some discreet corner of this forum where members could post about their own little ventures - but there is none, so i'll just go down the route of brash, shameless self-promotion.. after the leaking of the judicial committee videos, which had a (some word i can't think of just yet) effect on me, and in the spirit of jeni lundblomvaldez's article over at aawa.co, ex-jws: stop respecting the watchtowers wishes, i have decided to start my own blog, the carpenter's arms.

the reason for the name will become apparent.. there is not much going on there at the moment - the doors have only just been thrown open - but feel free to come over and say hello.. .
