  i hate downunder because when i post a thread at 10.10pm - nobody else is up to respond & i get bored & go to bed & by the time i log on tomorrow - my thread will have been forgotten ...

  hi, a link on another thread made me wonder if anyone here has written any poetry about dubdom.

  here is my contribution: a poem i wrote during a circuit assembly that i was absolutely hating.

  And I said not to be too honest - the main point was it was written during an assembly. I think poetry is a great tool to sometimes chrystallise what you're thinking. Anyway ...

  this is an email my sister receieved (i know im bad but she just left it running here how can you expect me not to) talking about the "dating scene" of jw youth, specifically girls.

  Just before I left, one of my closest friends acted really horribly towards me at a quickbuild because the guy she had liked for about 10 years (yes, she was about 29 & had hardly spoken to this guy!) was talking to me. Nuts!

  i'd have to say for me that it was ayn rand's the fountainhead.

  even though i don't agree with a lot of her philosophy, it definitely made me stumble around in a thought-induced haze for a few weeks after reading it.

  is your bullsh*t meter always cranked up to overdrive these days?

  i'm a happy enough guy but i find i get somewhat irritated reading of the faith people have in their belief systems, even outside of the dubs.

  i'm not trying to be condecending with this post at all.
