  i have actually been on this board for a few months and never really posted how i ended up here.

  maybe it would be healthy,,.

  i was raised as a witness, my dad was an elder and my mom vacation pioneered, eventually she was an auxiliary pioneer, so witness activities were always going on.

  More advice: Stock options

  my new job is setting aside 15% of their shares for employee stock options, to be distributed equally per employee (excluding ceo's) i am the first employee.

  they plan on selling this company in 2 years for $100,000,000.00 so 15% of that is 15 million.

  there will be 30 employees at most at that time.

  This of course is the real trick. I worked for a company that planned to go public for over a decade.. We had options also, but when the company finally did go public, they gave us employees the runaround while they waited for the price to go up.. eventually I just left. The stock is selling for 12 cents now.

  Also I am curious why they are distributing stocks equally, rather than based on position.

  If the society did DF someone (using a local cong. to do the dirty work) what exactly could you sue them for?

  (I am inactive for nearly 10 years now, but for family reasons don't want to ever get DFd.)

  usually there is one instance that sticks out in your memory forever as your lowest time.

  either while still active or after leaving, via falling away or disfellowshiping.

  i received this in an email and i wondered what the figures would refelct if such a survey was done on the gb and the lawyers who now run the watchtower.. the pope.

  can you imagine working for a company that has a little more than 300. employees and has the following statistics:.

  - 30 have been accused of spousal abuse.

  i just discovered this place tonight.

  i've been out of the "truth" (haha) for about 12 years and had no idea there were such places like this.

  i'm sure that this could have helped me through my 5 year post df depression.

  One Miracle in my life

  a while back there were some postings asking if miracles still happen today, so i thought this latest story from my life would be appropriate.. my husband's friend from work lost his father to cancer, shortly after that he lost his wife, also to cancer.

  a few months ago his teenage son was diagnosed with bone cancer and not given a very good chance of survival.. i don't know this man, only met him once, and i never met his son.

  but something inside me just made me so angry, and my heart so heavy -this could not happen.
