Absolutely not!!!
The org is loyal ONLY to the org. They use people up and when they are done with you, they spit you out. Spend any time at Bethel and that is what you will see.

as jw's we are asked to be "loyal" to the organization.
all this means is, say "yes" to everything they ask, and believe everything they teach without questioning.. how about the jw organization, are they loyal to their members?
if a brother of sister falls sick, loses a job, becomes invalid, will the jw organization show loyalty to that person and help out?
Absolutely not!!!

at this week's service meeting it a letter was read to all congregations in usa:
bethel wants lawyers, lawyers specializing in tax law, and cpa's.
if you are in any of these professions you were supposed to talk to the po that evening.
This is nothing new.
I remember when I was at Bethel hearing about how the Society had sent certain Bethelites to college and paid for it so they could use their expertise.
I thought it was massively hypocritical to be so anti college and then turn around and pay for certain Bethelites to go to college.
Heck, there was one congregation where a friend of mine was put on restrictions because he was going to college to become a CPA.

hi guys:.
one of the things that the jws claim is that there is no such thing as a just war today.
they even say that their objection to war proves that only they are true christians.. some people who are currently studying with the jws have been asking me questions on how to answer jws when they ask questions about war.. so, i put up an article on the subject at catholicxjw.com.
Hi Barney:
I am glad you read the article.
I hate war also. I think we probably could have dealt with Saddam without invading. But, that is water under the bridge now. We are in there so we better do the rebuilding right.
My hope is that wars will become more and more rare. But as long as there is sin in the world, there will be people doing bad things and those bad things sometimes lead to wars.
By the way, as a Catholic I also do not base my beliefs strictly on a book.

Hi Big Dog:
Thanks for visiting the website.
I tell my story on why I became Catholic on the conversion page. Here is the link:

To make a long story short, I started reading the early church fathers and discovered that the fullness of Christianity as handed down to us from Jesus and the Apostles is found in the Catholic Church.

i was looking for people from milwaukee.
i grew up in milwaukee and went to jackson park before the split and then burnam park, i also went to west allis north and greenfield.
I live in Sheboygan, WI and teach at Lakeland College. It seems we have enough ex-JWs in Wisconsin to have an Aposto-brat-fry.

my brother and his wife (still very much in) just inherited a library of wt publications dating back to the 20's.
the best part is, it's complete with both the original watchtowers and bound volumes, in many cases there are 2 of each of the bound volumes, which i can have one of.
i plan on doing a lot of research on here to figure out what all i need...still a "newbie" you know.
If you get an extra copy of the Kingdom Interlinear let me know. I will buy it from you.

Hi Gang:
I grew up in Louisiana.
We went to the East Metairie Congregation, the Covington Congregation, and the Abita Springs Congregation.
I have not lived there since 1993 but my family is still there.
I have a brother who lives in New Orleans, a sister who lives in Mandeville, and another brother who lives in Walker.
I also have numerous cousins and relatives all over the New Orleans area.
I hope to be able to visit New Orleans this summer when I attend my 20 year high school reunion. I graduated from Covington High School and got my Bachelor's Degree from Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, LA.
Small World!!!
