I doubt you'll find a recording on the internet of the talks in whole since that KM came out about recording and posting it to the internet. Honestly though, why would you want to submit yourself to the droning on and on and on and on......

The Writing Department's use of "Exclamation Points". Anybody else find their use cheesy? Or motivating possibly?
by miseryloveselders insomething i've been meaning to ask for a while since coming here, is wsup with the writing department's use of exclamation points?
i'm no literature buff or anything, but to me personally, the exclamation points cheapen whatever they're trying to get across.
here's some examples from the new jeremiah book.. how thankful we can be for the teaching done by christian shepherds!.

How dare you question the use of our timely and emphatic use of exclamation points!! It is punctuation at the proper time!
Yes, it's cheesy. No, not a petty remark either, I too found there use of ! was overdone and the sentence being stressed in that way always sounded like they were putting thoughts into our head instead of thinking of our own reaction.

Why would you want 'to prevent forest fires'?
by AK - Jeff inbefore anyone jumps down my throat about the disruption of lives, occasional deaths, or property damage that occurs: i am basically referring to forest fires that occur in remote location.. seem to me that following the money on this one leads to greed.
deforestation by natural fire, volcanoes, and so forth, has been occuring on this planet for a very long time, and is generally positive in the long run for the land.
aside from some concern about erosion, in time the area is better than it was before the fire.. housing, tourism, infrastructure, seem to be the big losses that concern us.. just thinking outloud, out of the box i have trained to stay within by both my country and other institutions seeking to control my opinion.. jeff.

Forest fires are a natural way of clearing dead brush, thick low lying trees/bush. Pinecones will only bud when a fire comes through and "opens" them up. It also helps control trees that are diseased.
This is why the forest service (USFS) and states with a wildfire protection agency (CAL Fire - California) have switched to prevention to "control burns". Control burns lowers the threat of raging out of control large destructive fires from breaking out.
So forest fires are good for the health of the forest ultimately. Building subdivisions or towns in or near a forest where control burns are not regular and common place maintenance item, sets that town or subdivision at a higher risk for destruction.

cov
by cskyjw.sun incircuit overseer visit(cov) supposed to happen once every 6 months may actually be as frequent as once every 3months.
-
Soldier77
The CO where I'm at couldn't do it every 3 months. He has 26 congregations to cover and they're only supposed to have 20. I think they should get rid of the CO and DO! But that would leave the WBTS without a company man to micromanage the congregations.

If You Still "Had" To Go To Meetings What "Disrespectful" Things Might You Do?
by minimus ini know some who go to meetings because they feel they have to because of family or other considerations.. imagine going to a meeting and having your iphone with you!.
how would it look if you had a watchtower in your hands along with a tv guide?.
think about going to a meeting with strong booze breath.. any other suggestions?

I think instead of making a comment, raise your hand and ask a question like, "if the GB is directed by holy spirit, why would the holy spirit say one thing years ago and then tell them a totally different thing now about this so-called new generation understanding? It's implied that the holy spirit was wrong at one point, and if not, then the GB is not truly inspired and are making this up on the fly. Which would be a sin against the spirit. The unforgivable sin."
They can't say that the light is getting brighter or clearer, because only an idiot would think that this new understanding is so.
Or....
Pull out a sandwich and start eating in the middle of the meeting.
