  disfellowshipping and suicide

  my mother had been a faithful witness for 16 yrs, she got addicted to prescription drugs and things got very bad for her.

  she overdosed one nite and was put in rehab.

  she began smoking after rehab and was disfellowhipped for it, she got a letter in the mail .

  part 6. the long long road.. in reflection upon the last 6 years, i'd have to say this was the longest road of my life.. it had become apparent to me i was changing.

  the things about the watchtower that bothered me became more and more disturbing.

  so much so, that rather than face these things, i buried them away, and would not talk about my "faith" like everyone else.. i became a follower, rather than the leader i once was.

  Just Got A New Dub Catalog!!!!!

  opening the mail today i got a rude surprise - there amoungst the items was a catalog for a dub company - with 2 peolpe on the cover witnessing!!!

  it was even addressed to me under my newly married name!

  any one want to order a "new" field service record book??

  JW Father in Calgary - Contact?

  does anyone here know how to contact the jw father in calgary who has given premission that his daughter have blood transfusion therapy to combat her cancer?

  i heard he could be reached though an attorney working for him.

  any help would be much appreciated.

  WT, you are welcome.

  That is very nice of you to write a thank you note. I don’t think we acknowledge enough of the good that is being done on this board. Having this community here to help us through an emotional, life-changing event is wonderful, I think. Other people cannot empathize the way someone who has been down the same path can. I just wished we could all get together personally and share some real booze and laughs, it would be so soothing for the soul.

  answer: 422 1 to change the lightbulb and post it to the board that the bulb has been changed.
