  i really want to read the cofc book, what's the best way to get it?.

  also, what is the wts gaining by keeping the org.

  well heres my story and i'm sticking to it :).

  my grandmother became a witness when my mom was a teenager.

  my mom became one when i was 4. that would be in 1954. i remember going to the international convention in ny at the yankee stadium and polo grounds.

  it's cold here in ogden, but warm wishes go out to you all from our family.

  'let the games begin', i think that's what i told my husband as we walked into my jcm in 2000. we no longer carry the 'torch' for the organization.

  The last DA hubby & I went to was in Ogden '99. He had his beard then and we were surprised to see at least 7 other men with beards.

  Hope its not getting toooooo crowded there with the Olympics. Enjoy the games.

  part 12: october surprise ii the sequel!

  october 1 a new day: looking back on the first parts to this series, one who is an ex-jw can perhaps appreciate these events as no other person.

  what may be a little different is how an exit can, for some, such as in my own situation, drag on and on with new difficulties, bizarre twists, and unexpected players on the field.

  Thanks for this series. I've printed them off everytime you write to pass them on to an exelder that stepped down when my husband did. He really enjoys reading them, as my hubby and I do.

  hi there,.

  my name is kep, and i've been looking on and off for a while and hadn't had the courage to say hello.. however, i feel i should should introduce myself as i've posted comments over the past 2 days.. i have enjoyed this site and have been able to see that there are many good ex-jws, just like me.. i have been "out" for almost 7 years now, and in the last 6 months have finally been able to let go of the borg.. free at last....

  Announcing the Great Apostate Song Contest.

  inspired by district overbeer valis and his smurf sticker contest, i decided to up the ante and announce a song contest for all you so inclined to play.. what i have in mind is this: take any recorded song you like, even the dreaded jw kingdom songs, and redub them to something much more fun!.

  if you have a cool bastardized song (well that is what valis says it is called when you do this) then we can try it out at some of the apostofests that seem to be popping up like crazy all over!.
