Interesting at the end on the signature line ... Watch Tower had preprinted the year as 197_ ... since this was made in 1973 and the end was to be in 1975, I suppose they didn't see the need to just leave it as 19__ which would have allowed them to use the form longer.

Some people called me Santa this weekend ... my wife calls me Satan
by wannabefree inmy mother's church was having a christmas breakfast this past weekend and needed a santa ... i volunteered.. these little ones thought i was the real deal and one is my child.

when we returned home she went right up to my wife and said ... "mom, santa is real!".

Could a JW be DF for celebrating Festivus?
by Stealth inafter all, it's a secular holiday not a religious holiday.. if i was still an active member, i think i would start a new tradition of celebrating festivus.
most likely no jws would come, but that's okay, it's a famiily holiday anyway.. what grounds would the elders have to disfellowship you?.

High court ruling in favor of JW children

Clearly the kids have been heavily influenced by Watchtower propoganda, hopefully dad can find a balanced way to "deprogram" them and help them out and enjoy their youth. No doubt Caleb and Sophia have had a part in it.
I wonder if the mother was brought up a JW and returned to her faith.

I gave my fully indoctrinated JW daughter a new Dell Venue tablet a few months ago ... everybody else in the family has a tablet, most of us not meeting attenders ... she sent me a text the other day that it had fallen and the screen cracked. I don't know the circumstances of the fall, but I have dropped mine a few times without any breakage
This is going to be a burden on these sisters. This can get quite expensive for them.
