Sister "Elly" vanishes

my daughter is 18 and goes to meetings from time-to-time basically to mess with the dubs (she always wears mini-skirts) and keep up on gossip....she actually filled me in on this but i find it amusing.. sister "elly" (we'll just call her that) the buxom vixen of our spanish congo suddenly stopped showing up to meetings.

my curiosity became aroused when not one single person asked her mom about her!.

her mom and step-dad are super-dubs, the kind who take it personally if a child draws pictures during the meeting rather than sit ram-rod straight, if a bro uses the john more than once, or if a sister "forgets" her hose.

Was Jesus a hunchback, unibrowed dwarf?

i recall some time ago reading a book (i forgot the title) that stated that there was an early church tradition about jesus being deformed.

one source described him as being 3 cubits tall-41/2 feet (males at that time and region were on average 5'4"), hunchbacked, long face with a unibrow that made him look terrifying when he looked at you.. i was wondering if any of our scholars, leolaia or narkissos are familiar with this issue and perhaps enlighten us with some references.. villabolo.

I doubt a unibrow would even have been noticed back then, i.e different standards of grooming, and it WAS the middle east, so that to begin w/ makes the description suspect.

memories of assemblys gone by.... does anyone remember crystal place assemblies?

the jubliee stand was the stand to be in, because it got the shade in the afternoon, wereas all the other stands would be frying.

i rember there was a mad insane dash for those seats everyday.

Mrs.J, I went to the oakland coliseum as a kid too. It was uncomfortable. Plus, I lost my teddy bear, Daniel. It sucked.

Child Molestation and the Two Witness Rule

this morning, as i was fixing breakfast, my wife and i got on the subject of religion (again) and i apologized to her for some of the things i said yesterday regarding the jehovah's witnesses.. in short, i said that given the way she treated me in regards to keeping me in the dark about certain financial situations, overdrawing her checking account and running up $500 in credit card debt due to her overdrafts that i am surprised the elder and his wife would approve of her activities in light of their teachings.

i said, "when you go to their house and study that book 'keeping yourself in god's love' with them, ask them what they would think of you taking such a nonchalant attitude over how you are managing the household finances and the way you respond to me when i inquire about the situation.

telling me that 'i should not worry' and that 'i am being fed and have a roof over my head' in such a way that i should just be quiet about it and let you be in charge.

Tyler is my brother. Leanne Morley who is in some of Barbaras docs and was on CBS news is also a friend and was in the same cong. She has a gag order. But i sure don't!
