jwd, .
i've noticed on more than one occasion comments such as this one made in mattnoel's post this morning within the us/patriotism thread: its also very much the world of america, people dont go outside except to canada and mexico.
could it be that we are the only nation out of the long list of major western countries not to have legally mandated vacation days?

so, the iraqis did want us to liberate them.
what are your pathetic responses to the images of cheering iraqis?.
thank god bush knows better than to listen to you..
Yes Simon you are so correct. I live in California with a large immigrant population I can tell you first hand the Chinese (nothing like forcing a little opium on people) just love the Brits, as do the Irish (you guys fight so well in cities due to all the practice you had screwing with the Irish, to bad the potato famine did not kill them all of like you wanted), and the Indians (you thing the trouble is bad in Iraq now, how about the happy love fest that occured in India when you guys decolonized them).
Just like you were correct about Iraqis hating us, was not there a thread on here somewhere about one of us apologizing if we were wrong?
Terry
nothing you said was going to happen has actually happened.
the iraqis have welcomed us with open arms.
we have not decimated baghdad's infrastructure.
Dont worry Lyin Eyes, the UN is there now they will have it fixed soon Just like Rawanda.

this was just taken by a guy i grew up with.
he said the war is over, and they're coming home.
so they had a little 'pickle barrell' celebration as only navy boys can.
Happysunshine,
You can email me the pic at [email protected] as an attachment, I will host it and post it for you, if its good.

here's an article from the frontlines, written for the new york times.
i think it shows that some iraqis are starting to understand that the american coalition is there to help them.
i know some people will say this is fabricated or slanted, but i think there's a lot of truth to this.. http://www.startribune.com/stories/484/3802996.html.
Realist,
Yeah, I know I am a dreamer but if they did this I think it would end the 'war on terror' with in one year.

The Iraqi people have a lot of fear. They don’t trust us and they are terrified of Saddam. They are afraid we are going to leave them high and dry like we did in 91 when we made the mistake of listening to the idiotic UN.
In Alaska, they have a statewide revenue sharing plan where every state resident gets some of the oil revenue. I would love to see something like that implemented for the Iraqis. Imagine how much Saudi Arabia and Iran would crap themselves if we gave the oil revenue directly to the Iraqi people. Both countries would have a revolution within three months.

Hopefully they soldiers didnt use radioactive bullets, if they had the kids might have mutated into 'flipper babies'.
