at a recent circuit assembly a circuit overseer gave an awesome talk during the portion, 'giving attention to the needs of the circuit.

Right. You don't charge for Filet Mignon then serve Salisbury Steak (or in the WT's case, Kibbles'N'Bits).
Jesus' blood covered souls, not seats.
The WT has not produced anything new, interesting, or meaningful, for nearly a quarter of a century.
If I really felt Jesus just wanted me to tell myself the same old crap ad nauseum, I would do that. But I could do that on my own without anyone's help.

I'm pretty sure I remember reading here in the past that the anti-GB sentiment amongst European JWs is getting stronger, that they're getting fed up and are being less silent about it. Of course, this is just a rumor, but if there was to be a WT schism - and I mean like whole countries revolting - it would probably start in Europe. The European intellect tends to look down upon the Ugly American. In this case, they are absolutely justified.

under the article " the faithful steward and it's governing body " there were some very telling quotes which could indicate how the wt society is tightening the control of it's members - and trying to justify more partaking of the emblems at the memorial since the numbers partaking have gone up from about 8,000 to 10,000 since they no longer feel that the sealing of the anointed ended in 1935.. so first off, notice this quote indicating the importance of elevating the governing body over the rest of the anointed around the earth.
paragraph 16 it states , " are all these anointed ones throughout the earth part of a global network that is somehow involved in revealing new spiritual truths ?

A recent WT admitted that the anointed have no more insight or holy spirit than the great crowd.
Since they did not say the GB is exempt from this rule, I'm taking what they say at face value.
Therefore, you and I have just as much holy spirit and insight as Jaracz and Co.
So their "authority" is totally baseless.
Prove me wrong if you wish but that's my story and I'm sticking to it if anybody gives me any more BS. You should do the same.

i am into other topics now but fell upon some actual reasons.
i believe the wt just says it's symbolic and since it's not the same 12 as originally, that it proves it's symbolic.

My personal take? The name "Dan" literally means "judge". Before Christ, the Law was a "judge" of sorts. After Christ, "judgment" was nullified. Or Jesus himself will be the Judge, as he is the fulfillment/completion of the Law.
