i am inclined to start this thread in response to some comments made in other threads.

i have been coming around these forum for quite some time now so whatever you find in here is not just related to something someone may have said this week.

it can go months back as well.. i have seen many who claim to respect the belief of others but when it comes down to applying it into practice, things take a whole different tune.

The synonyms for 'insist' include: be resolute about, be emphatic about, be adamant about, not take no for an answer about; informalstick to one's guns about.

Viviane was clearly 'insisting' on examples of her insulting someone. Previously Eden said he would not look up old threads but her resolute stance, adamant reply on showing examples, then after Eden does it saying he's lying about it and her bullying him afterwards if he won't take it back.

Some other really interesting things, has anybody ever heard of the "Ipuwer Papyrus"? It details plagues, including the river being blood.

The 12th dynasty instead of the 18th dynasty, events and circumstances line up with bible events if it happened. Moses picked up and adopted by the queen who couldn't bear children, Sobekneferu.

They did have slaves around that time know as Asiatics.

The Armarna tablets asking for armies and help from Egypt because the "Habiru" or "Apiru" are conquering the lands.

The magicians who threw down their rods and they became serpents, in the liverpool musuem from the 12th dynasty a cobra magican rod.

Fulltime - I posted that stuff though because it does make sense on time frame. If they were enslaved and released, then it would take them 3 to 5 days max to walk to the red sea. If Pharoh changed his mind and send an army on chariots, then it would mean it would be 2 or 3 days later and they would have caught up to them at the Red Sea.

Chariots would need roads, if no road to Palestine, as there would not be since supposedly that would be under control of the tough canannites then it wouldn't happen. But there was likely a road to the red sea due to close proximity to Cairo and for bringing in fish, etc.

Also having rechecked, in Ex 1:11 it says they build for them 'supply cities' Pithom and Raamses. Looking up the cities, this is supposedly some ruins of Pithom, which most definitely show bricks made from mud vs the limestone blocks from a quarry on the pyramids. A 10th century Jewish scholar supposedly identified Faiyum as the city of Pithom.

Some things to wonder....whoever wrote it all definitely would have had a good knowledge of those areas and the distances to make it up. And if all of it was made up, how did the Jewish people suddenly one day get duped into the passover and their deliverance from Egypt?

Seems like something had to happen, even if exaggerations. Similar to tell somebody a story and have them pass it down and whether the story is identical after 10 people, etc.

O and further.....the Israelites if slaves, were building bricks from mud and straw. The Pyramids of Gizah were made from limestone blocks, not bricks.

O and supposedly if the jews were enslaved, it would have been prior to the great Pyramids, which would explain why they aren't mentioned.

It's only 350 miles from Cairo to Jerusalem. I walked 110 miles through the alps in 7 days, so walking flat terrain a straight shot would only take 3 or 4 weeks at a slow pace.

The countries are literally neighbors so if Egyptians did have slave labor, their next door neighbor wouldn't be a stretch.

Cairo to the red sea is only 84 miles, 3 to 5 days walk. Right on the other side of the Red Sea is Mt Sinai region.

If they could not enter Israel, and were not wandering or in the Egyptian area, then that would have left Jordan. The Wadi Rum Desert or maybe even the ancient city of Petra.

Aside from written evidence and if anything happened as said, at the very least the locations, etc, don't seem far fetched at all.

A family member told me as of Jan everything is changing. ANd they are so glad because they were getting so bored with it and Jehovah must have known and inspired the GB to make all these changes so it's more interesting.

so i decided yesterday to give my wife's full disclosure.

not sure it was the best decision considering she holds very firmly to the resurrection hope so we can see our babies again.. anyways she is agreeable to begin a study to find a better truth.

where is a good place to go to get some good reliable biblical info on the web that we can consider together?.

If you really read in context, in interlinear, etc, and take notice of key scriptures in the OT and NT that are generally ignored, a few possibilities of hidden teachings/revelations about God, Jesus, etc.

1. YHWH in OT is Jesus, but YHWH himself is a son or the son of the father. YHWH 'inherited' Israel. This would explain why people had seen YHWH in OT but Jesus said no man has nor could ever see the father and yet live.

2. YHWH possibly same as above scenario but not the only son, other sons too, who inherited other nations, but all had fights and disagreements on how to rule over people. (evidence would be in Ps when YHWH is in the council of the most high and seems to be disagreeing and disputing over how others are ruling and judging people)

3. YHWH in many instances of the OT was not actually YHWH, but an imposter, this is why in Isaiah and first martyr stephen says they weren't serving God those 40 years in wilderness but forgot the name another entity and his star.

4. YHWH in many instances in OT, especially when seemingly very brutal and merciless was the angel that carried YHWH name/authority, that YHWH said would be sent before Israel after they worshipped the golden calf and to be CAREFUL TO OBEY HIM, a warning that he was not forgiving and extremely strict.

5. If the above is true, taken with what Isaiah and Stephen said, either he was authorized or after having that power became corrupt.

6. From what prophet Jeremiah said, combined w/ things in Isaiah, and while in wilderness the orders the Israelites given to make sacrifices, cakes, etc, then in Jeremiah and Isaiah, Jeremiah says its the 'queen of the heavens' they are worshipping and not God, and in Isaiah what sounds like a loving, caring entity who says the sacrifices and rituals he did not command and asking why they are doing such things and when Jesus says the father of the jews or pharasees is Satan........who is leading them?

There are a few more but they get even more complex to try to explain.

Beth - is there even a picture of Rutherford ever having a beard or did Rutherford never even have one? But I think he imposed it for his own personal taste and like everything else he wrote, whatever he said was not from him but from Jesus or God himself and to be obeyed as such!
