The did use the term governing body in the introduction to Acts. In lower case, I might add.

there have been several posts where individuals are asking if it is possible to hack into and watch the agm as it is streamed to the conventions.
i say it is not streamed live like many are assuming, but a recorded download played for the audience.. why?
a live stream has many possible points of failure.
At the least one of them have to be recorded.
How would one know if it is live or not? Would you have to site through at least two of them?

Sounds like it is still in use. I remember many years ago during peak growth they couldn't keep up with the amount of food needed. I assume with the downsiziing they are still producing they probably have enough. It was the construction that Amadeus me ask what they are doing .

we had to go off grid for a time, time and half a time as we thought we had been outed.
fortunately it was a false alarm, but it was a stressful time.
i asked for my original diary thread to be deleted in case there could be anything on there to identlfy mrs smith and i. i am always very careful when posting, and am sure there was nothing on there, but felt it best to have it removed in order to be as cautious as a dove.
I'm actually not suprised that Mrs Smith has not been contacted. I have a freind that when she sent in a letter, the elders started hounding her husband, I think the misogyny runs deep enough they won't contact a wife.
I curious about the destrying records, I have never heard of that, is that a legal requirement in your country? I have to assume that even if they destroy congeration records bethal still keeps copies?
