  Watchtower zealots in the ruling religious hierarchy may try to obey the law at a PHYSICAL and outward level but will not hesitate to commit SPIRITUAL crimes on their hapless victims: abduction, rape, torture, starvation, assassination, murder and so on...

  They do this since they can get away with it because of giant gaps in legislation that exist because we as a society are not clear where the baby (faith, spirituality, the gospel) ends and the bathwater (religion) begins.

  It should not be that hard since the relationship between the two is directly opposite (antithetical) on scores of points.

  Keep Jesus, toss religion.

  JW's and Chronic Fatigue Syndrone!

  chronic fatigue syndrone, m e, yuppie flu.

  i dont know if anyone else has noticed the alarming number of jws who claim to suffer from chronic fatigue syndrone,i mean hear in cornwall there tend to be several sufferers in every congregation,outside the jws out of the many people i know i dont know anyone,although there are obviosly many outside the jws who suffer this illness,percentage wise it seems that jws have a much,much larger occorance of the illness.. for example my brother in law has not worked and been living on invalidity benefits for more than 10 years since his mid twenties,his brother is also in the same boat, an m.e sufferer.. i wonder if anyone has looked into this a bit more?

  This psychologically stressful situation is designed by the (Watchtower's) god of religion to make us ill (in many ways).

  Turning to the God of Abraham instead, via his liberating message (the real, authentic unabridged "good news"), changes all of this (2 Cor 3:16; 4:4; Isa 61:1; Gal 3:8; Rom 3:28).

  Running a JW website without getting sued

  hi guys, i want to setup a unique ex-jw/cult site, and i am wondering how you run this site without getting sued?

  last thing i want is to have the stress of a court case that the jw volunteer-lawyers likely will win.

  i'd like to keep a rather low profile.

  You can pay extra with domain name registrar for privacy on "who is" database. Don't know at what point registrar must disclose, so you may want to consider what contact details you pass on to registrar. Anonymous email account may be of use. Tracking of source of hosting payments?

  Separate arrangements/enquiries with your HSP (Hosting Service Provider).

  If you register domain name with HSP you are somewhat married to them as they have a degree of control over your domain name.

  Normally a significant price difference between Linux or Windows server hosting.

  Questions highlighting (major and inexcusable) blind spots really works.

  Six years ago, after proudly proclaiming myself religious, I was asked to explain what "the gospel" is in one word.

  I was dumbfounded at the simplicity of the question to which I had no answer after 4 decades and 3 generations in the Watchtower.

  The rest is history...

  Discovering and piecing together the fragments of the unabridged gospel in the Watchtower library (CD) and then seeing how the apostate and venomous ruling religious hierarchy deeply HATED it, was priceless and ultimately very liberating and healing.

  Guys, what a balanced, reasonable and informed conversation from persons the Watchtower claims are "mentally diseased".

  It is a pleasant surprise to notice the restraint in applying this same label to the patently evil Watchtower ruling religious clergy class and hierarchy!

  What Term Can Replace "Publisher" ?

  indulge the possibility that, as profits from printed materials become thinner, watchtower might want to stop having members carry printed materials to the homes of many.

  i know it will probably go through more phases of "cheapening" the materials (softcover books, pamplets instead of brochures, flyers instead of pamphlets) but let's consider the idea that they will one day cease delivering anything printed.. the door-to-door work is huge in controlling members and monitoring loyalty.

  pioneers are their biggest supporters.

  BOC, if these "poor bastards" took the time to read their Bible they would be devastated to see that the only GB in the NT is the Sanhedrin.

  i have been on boards and run businesses, and been reminded by more than one cpa and attorney to cross ts and dot i s regarding corporate requirements or we would become liable to lawsuits.. therefore, my questions to any attorneys and cpas, and the keen minds on this board, are the following;.

  i have been reading old threads on this site about watchtower society irregularities regarding tax filings with state and federal agencies.

  evidently, a number of filings for different years were identical (unlikely if not impossible) or missing.

  Without the benefit of having seen further updates on the Steven Unthank case, he as a one-man-band and carpenter, certainly seems to have crossed all the t's and dotted all the i's in a typical David & Goliath battle against the naked emperor that is the Watchtower hegemony.

  Almost 500 years ago it took only one man - Luther - who partly understood Romans 3 versus Matthew 23 to challenge the most fear inspiring Church-State hegemony of the day and deal it a decisive death blow from which it only temporarily and partially healed.

  The Watchtower is corrupt, dysfunctional and unsustainable. It will come to its end as will "all religion" which rogue Judge JF Rutherford correctly pointed out "is a snare and a racket".

  The self-centred, self-serving and self-preserving GB knows, and deeply fears this day when they will be exposed as having had their pants down in endless graven acts of spiritual prostitution (aka apostasy or heresy) with demons and the god of religion. The WBT$ along with all religion/ists has never KNOWN the God of Abraham, or his promise to Abraham (namely the unabridged "good news").

  Seven million "publishers of the good news" and not one can explain the "good news" according to Paul, from the heart, and often not even by rote! More than half the Bible's references to the "good news" are by Paul! What about the "good news" according to Moses, Isaiah, the Psalms and others (2 Cor 4:4)?

  How these religionists dread the day when every ordinary man will be able to tell the baby (the "good news") from the bathwater (religion) and toss the latter.

  i think it was for me.. i knew a lot of the history of the bible students, russell, rutherford and the "old light".

  once i could see all of the overwhelming evidence right in front of my eyes, there was no ignoring the reality..

  The clincher however was their intense hatred for what their own publications reveal (amidst the clutter and noise) about the "unabridged gospel" or the full "good news".

  Yup, hard to believe, but as a deluded loyalist, I came to faith in the "good news" without reading any other books - probably the same as Ray Franz, and with the same reaction from the Pharisees and Sanhedrin.

  The Pharisees actually gave a recorded "local needs" talk with thinly veiled threats against speaking about the "good news" to others in the congregation. The congregation was asked to report any such activity to the Pharisees without delay - obviously so that the perpetrators could be hauled into a "star chamber" (kangaroo court) for sentencing to death (disfellowshipping) for daring to speak on the basis of Jesus' name.

  Now I understand why it is near impossible to find a single "publisher of the good news" in the Watchtower that can explain the "good news" according to Paul. More than half the Bible's references to the "good news" are by Paul!
