The Generation that saw, the Generation that saw 1914, will not pass away.
by ThomasCovenant inposter sapphy (i think).
wrote this phrase and to me it is the best and simplest way of rendering the new understanding at its most ludicrous.. ''we believe that the generation that saw the generation that saw 1914 will not pass away until all these things occur''.
this will evidently be extended to ''the generation that saw the generation that saw the generation that saw 1914'' etc.

My Jehovers Witness Baptism-
by acolytes ini wanted to be free from my jehovers witness baptism because i realised i had imprissoned myself.. i wanted reality ,real love, real life, real connections, real achivements and these were all the things my baptisam had taken from me.. then it dawned on me that simply by baptism never happened and anyone who considers it valid does so because their thinking is wrong-.
the whole thing was simply based on lies and only exists through the false thinking of people- as the fleetwood mac song goes.
"tell me lies, tell me sweet little lies" and thats all my baptisam was lies-so to me it never existed and never happened.. acolytes..

The Story of Suzie
by whereami in"look at our world through the eyes of suzie, a devoutly religious girl who sees divine love and intervention everywhere.
this cocoon of comfort keeps her ignorant of science and safely away from critical thought, but it sure makes her happy.
if you've interacted with the deeply religious, you've probably met someone in your own life that is just like her".

My heart bleeds for (This woman) the women.
by acolytes inwhen ever bethel is rang the sister answers and places your call with an experienced brother.. so today i rang the bethel and spoke to the receptionist.. i said my question was directed to her.
this was the tough question "can you imagine never having had a child and held that child in your arms.........the conversation progressed and the sister said "do you know how old iam.....".
to cut a long phone-call.

If you accept other peoples cultures ?
by acolytes inthen maybe its best just to simply leave as silently as possible.. the truth is i still have rules that if broken will destroy any frienship i have.. of course that rule doesnt apply to my kid who i will always love .. but my point is whilst i realise the witnesses are wacky in their thinking, my thinking is pretty wacky.. iam grateful for the hatred of worldly people i learnt from the witnesses.
it has made me less hateful.. if it wasnt for my association with the witnesses i would not now be an athiest.. i hope tomorrow i find iam wrong and a loving god exists.. but its comforting being an athiest with the knowledge i could be wrong.. acolytes.
