before i dive into the actual write-up of this experience, let me put some things straight.. i have thought long and hard if i should write more about my experiences during the 10+ years at different branches.

during these years i worked from financial department, service department, home office and different it assignments.

as you can imagine one sees and hears and reads a lot of stuff going through different stations in different countries.

Don't touch that dirty Microphone

yuck..sitting in front of me, today, i saw an elder picking his nose while his wife was commenting on the wt study.

then with the same hand, he grabbed the microphone and passed it back to the microphone carrier.

he didn't even have a kleenex.

I think these dirty habbits are away of life throughout the general public and not a jw only thing.

For example I work in the emergency services field, and I see repeatedly firemen, including fire commanders, take a piss or a dump and just walkout of the toilet withoutwashing their hands. These are airport fireys and are resposable for first call first aid over the entire airport and surrounding land.

Don't trust anyone, that, they are going to be clean.

My advise, keep a number of hand sanitizers handy

i'm still determined not to vote - just to write something unpleasant about pollies on the ballot paper.

if i lived in victoria, i just may, as an act of sheer bastardry, vote for julian assange (of wikileaks fame), but i don't live in vic, so i cant.. my objection to voting is that the political choice offers two self-perpetuating oligarchies (who are something like the governing body).

they make up a slate of candidates and election advertising consists of attempting to persuade swinging voters to vote for their slate of candidates.. anyway, i noted that k.rudd has made a video in chinese, aimed apparently at mainland china.

thank goodness i can't vote in this country (kiwi) one thing for sure tho, there will be an arshole in power come monday

"Worlds Apart" A danish movie about a young coming of age Jehovahs Witness , screening on SBS2 tonight in Victoria

i know their have been screenings of this movie before , but this notice is for any newbies here that may not have seen it previously.

it is scheduled to screen at 10:25 pm on ch.32 sbs2 sun.25/8/13 .

maybe other states in australia can view it on-line , or request it be shown by sbs in their state.. it is an interesting movie , and apart from minor flaws , pretty accurate despite the beard,though i am told the danes are a bit more liberal than the west.. the real / actual jehovahs witness this story is based on has a cameo appearance near the end of this movie in the train sequence.. please let me know if you watch it and your thoughts about it .. smiddy.

Where Are You From?

alot of members don't have a flag or country name beside their user name, and well frequently one doesn't know where that particular person is from, tell us your country, state, county or what ever you feel like giving out.

if you are going to post please at least devulge your country.. me, i'm originally from taranaki, new zealand via auckland.

for the most of this decade i have been living & working in brisbane, queensland, australia.. .
