Your story gave me a laugh Witness 007, BUT I am shocked to hear that your kingdom hall has windows that you could see them praying and they could look out at you arriving LOL. Most of the Halls now have few windows and if they do have them they are way up at the top so you cant see out or in.

An Elder's honest opinion...saw this on another site...thoughts?
by MsGrowingGirl20 inby "shadow elder".
before i express my opinion to the readers and contributors to this website (www.ex-jw.com), i would like to explain who i am and to present my bona fides as someone qualified to comment on this website and jehovah's witnesses in general.. first of all, i am an active jehovah's witness living just outside of new york city.
being a large metropolis, new york has many kingdom halls located within the city and several more in surrounding boroughs, counties, and suburbs.

Thank you for sharing Shadow Elders post. I find it very interesting indeed. He still thinks its the truth but also thinks there is a lot wrong with the Governing Body and that they aren't directed by Holy Spirit. By doing this anonymously he is being safe and expressing his doubts. There are so many out there that must be in the same boat. Its very good to hear this.
I think he has serious doubts and is putting feelers out there to try to convince himself otherwise.
Then he advices apostate posters and websites as to how to make themselves more credible. Atually I think he has some good points LOL about the way some exjw's present the truth about the truth.

Read a story of child neglect and abuse among JWs in S. Africa that was sent to me.
by AndersonsInfo ini regard the information below as true until proven false because of corresponding with a young man in s. africa for a few years whose story i posted on my website: http://www.watchtowerdocuments.com/stories/caleb.html, "freedom from an unsafe haven, by caleb.
" although some of the accounts of abuse of children in s. africa in the story below are older, calab wrote me details of abusive treatment meted out to young people in his area that he chose not to put in his story for fear he could be identified.
calab in now in university in another part of africa and very happy after breaking the chains that engulfed his mind.. barbara.

It is indeed shocking, and I am have no doubt that some of this is true. So sad to hear.
Is SA JW jargon the same as North American? Because over here we don't call the seats in the Hall Pews. This person said pews so it set me to wondering how much he was involved in the religion.
Quote: "all while their parents sit “haughty” in the front pews during church meetings and this organization’s elders look the other way, or rather take their abusive parent’s side, when children bring these transgressions to light!"

I absolutely love playing scrabble, my boyfriend hates it so I do it online. I play Words with Friends on Facebook and on my Ipad, I need to find new people to play with. Any takers LOL.
I am a shut in, in the winter so I need stuff to keep my mind busy. The problem with playing scrabble everyday is that you get better at it and I keep losing partners as I keep winning. I need a new challenge ;-)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TERRY!!!
65 is not so old, but thats because I am almost that age myself. We should embrace our maturity and wisdom as something special and you Sir certainly deserve it.
