Do you ENJOY these endless theism/atheism - faith/reason - creation/evolution debates?

sure i get frustrated when i have to explain for the bajillionth time just why atheism is not a belief or why it is possible to know some things with 100% certainty but despite all the exasperations i still count it as one of the rewards of freeing my mind and exiting the wt that i can argue so endlessly and freely.. even if some of you do get on my tits sometimes .

I agree with snowbird. It really gets nowhere. Although, I do appreciate understanding where another persons viewpoint stems from, debating it, is pointless.

Elder Called...
by STILLINWANTOUT inafter sending in my da letter the elder that i genuinely like called me this morning.
i instructed in my letter that if they decided to talk to me they would be limited to only the bible.. i need some thoughts.. i want to go in prepared with points of discrepancy that i can point to directly in the bible...its sad becaus i love the friends its the culti-ness i cant deal with.
im just glad my family was never in..

i really do believe in marriage and the committment, however, sometimes enough is enough.. his endless preaching at me and calling me and my (adult) children satan has me realizing that this situation is not going to get better.
the other day he kicked my son out of the house for wearing a cap, in his car, with a skull on it.

Yeah, so far I got to leave with a few pictures, a two seater patio table, and we are sleeping on air mattresses. Im still happier.

Anyone take depression/anxiety meds?
by tresdecu injust wondering if any ex or current "concious class" dubbers out there take anything; and if it works!
my family is still in and with everything else going on in my life, sometimes i consider asking my doc about zolft / prosac.. thanks for any replies!.
i should just ask 85% of my congregation-mates ... lol.

9/9/10 Update. Well, I did it. I got a new job and an apartment. I've been out of the house for a week. I must say it is much more peaceful.
My son moved in with me and my older son probably will too . Its really nice to have their support. My oldest actually told me he was proud of me and wished I had done it 10 years ago.
The hard part now, is that when I see my husband, I dont want to hurt his feelings, but Im happier without him.
Any easy way to tell him I dont want to come back?
