by blondie ini will volunteer to coordinate this.. if you would like a card sent to you or send a card, pm me your mailing address and a name the post office will deliver to.. what do you think the cut off date should be for sending the exchange lists out to everyone?.
do you want it pm'd or e-mailed (if emailed send your email address with your snail mail.. i know that cards going overseas can take longer.. .

What's the saddest movie you've ever seen?

Did anyone else bawl at the end of The Empire Strikes Back when Han Solo was frozen? That was the worst Star Wars movie- until the new ones came out anyway.

Favorite Xmas Tunes?
by undercover insomeone started a thread asking everyone's favorite xmas movies.. how about favorite xmas music/songs?
even when i was an active jw i had a soft spot for certain xmas music.
the standards, the jazzy ones, the rocknroll ones.. while i like a lot of different ones...i even collected my favs onto a playlist that i keep for this time of year...there are a few that really stand out as my favs.

Bridgestone Blizzak WS70 Winter Tires
by Simon inso, after 3 and a bit winters in canada i finally invested in a set of winter tires.
up till now i've had a good set of all-seasons (goodyear assurance tripletred) and they have been very good even coping with a sudden calgary freeze last winter that saw accordian buses sliding back down the hill we were on (scary!
) and general chaos on the roads.. but, driving on the deerfoot on solid polished sheets of black-ice in rush-hour traffic is not nice and you could feel the car getting more than a little vague at times.

by Jadeen inthis was briefly mentioned in one of miseryloveselders threads, but i had the honor of a local needs talk pointed at me.
shortly before i got married to my "worldly" husband there was a talk about "marrying only in the lord", "do not become unevenly yoked", blah blah blah.. i wasn't shocked that it was given, i was actually waiting to hear about it.
i was more surprised that they waited until about a month before our wedding day to give it.
