What are the things that wake people up from the Watchtower Corporation?

when i became an elder i saw the dark side.

a side i previously believed couldn't possibly exist in the one true religion of the happiest people on earth.. then they rolled out 'overlapping generations(tm)' and that was the last straw.. all my life i had doubts but surpressed them thinking i was at fault and not the cult leaders.. it seems more likely that now the governing body are parading around like popes, wearing their expensive jewellery, that this will nauseate even dyed in the wool jws.. i wonder if the wake up can be condensed into main categories?.

in 1967 an archeologist found at tell el-deir alla an inscription that they called the book of balaam son of beor.

this looks to be about the same balaam that's talked about in the bible book of numbers.

remember the guy where his donkey is talking to him.

How many of us are 'perfectionists'?

i made a medium level mistake at work today, and when i make mistakes it really shakes me up and takes me a long time to recover.

it completely rattles me, makes me feel awful about myself.

my mind keeps going back to the mistake reliving how i could have let it happen.

I have never been a perfectionist. I do what I have to to get the job done, it's why my laboratory career was relatively short lived and why I moved into management roles where I can delegate perfectionism to those that can achieve it.
