  JW's without welfare...

  i hear the uk is now going to clamp down on the amount of people claiming welfare.

  i was wondering what kind of impact this could have on the dubs?

  i could name at least 10 dubs from one cong alone who were able to work, but knew how to work the system and managed to stay on welfare for years.... could this seriously affect the cult?.

  I hope it doesnt affect their children... most of the JW's I know are actually very hard workers. Some of the families here own a few businesses and employ quite a few of the other members in the cong... Oz has a simmilar system to UK as far as 'welfare' is concerned... and there is bound to be some who try to cheat the system anywhere, but as for a 'crack down' on welfare, I cant see that effecting all the well off or richer JW's that contribute- they are after all the ones the WTBTS trys to attract (they have more money to donate for littertrash etc...)

  Neighbors Are Newly Re-activated JW's

  i'm wondering what the stats are on re-activated jw's staying in or leaving the second time around.

  i left twice for a couple of months the first time and a year the second time, but finally left for good the third time.. i just found out that my neighbors are jw's but have been out for a while.

  the jw's in our area just came by and re-activated them.

  putting this out there.....going back 12months ago i was completely different to how i am now.

  i am still loyal to jah and dont go against the scriptures, but even though ive recently returned to pioneering (only aux pio at present) i see im a little more laid back.. i think this has come through having to endure hell and back without any help, except jehovah, which im not complaining, im so glad his been there for me, for us both.

  but i really believe that due to things that have badly and wrongly been allowed to take place etc its moulded me a little different to how i was.

  Who are the true anointed ones? Sometimes we see people who are just barely in the truth partaking of the emblems. We will know who they are because once they have been sealed, no doubt many will be gathered at that particular time, you will know for a certainty who those truly are; those who are anointed and those who are fakes. Sometimes in traveling about, and I am not trying to make any judgments, but sometimes I see those who claim to be of the anointed not representing anything that I've seen of the anointed. You got the last laugh because your financial means had been used to honor and praise Jehovah, and all those others who've been saving theirs, they're going to see the stock market crash, they're probably going to see dollar bills, blowing in the streets as worthless pieces of paper! And yours would have served every right purpose to honor Jehovah.

  I swear to tell the whole truth...

  ... and nothing but the truth, please help me prozak..... i'm sure some have noticed how 'cranky' and 'snappy' i have been posting the last couple of days.... i am sorry..... life on my peaceful farm has gone to hell the last week with the noise of constant loud bangs from 'scareguns' that have been placed around our property to keep the ducks off the rice crops..... i have had very little sleep as the noise echos inside my old brick house 24hrs a day!......

  so now that i have had my rant, i ask the question.... (in the family guy style).

  what grinds your gears????????.
