  the wtbs is changing media from print to online.

  if we look at other companies doing the same the obvious buissness model is subscription with a monthly fee people can choose themselves.

  the wtbs can continue to offer everything for free, however subscribers might earn a button for social media or somesuch ("wtbs donor").

  The wtbs is changing media from print to online. If we look at other companies doing the same the obvious buissness model is subscription with a monthly fee people can choose themselves. The wtbs can continue to offer everything for free, however subscribers might earn a button for social media or somesuch ("wtbs donor").

  this would Secure a stable and significant revenue stream and would not violate the no tithing part since it was voluntary and not done at meetings. Furthermore all jw who subscribe to online mags or services could be guilted into suscribing to the most important website in the world.

  Anyone else think this might happend soon?

  Thanks for posting!

  Huge shoutout for the poster who first leaked these numbers. I got to say I think these numbers are better for the WTBS than I expected with no drop in the western world. This indicates (?) the lack of growth is in 3rd world countries (someone should figure out where the reduction in growth is happening) and with these being the most affected by cutbacks the coming year 2016 is properly not going to be stellar either.

  That said, with growth curves there is a regression towards the mean implying that we should be expect 2016 not to be as bad as this year for the WTBS.

  Interesting times...

  "more news from the south-west of england.cinderford congregation has been terminated.

  if you look on jw.org it hasn't disappeared yet (dec 20th 2015) but it's meeting time is shown as sunday at 10.00 am and that is not possible, as lydney who shared the same hall are listed as sunday at 10.30 am.cinderford and lydney shared a hall in parkend, lydney, gloucestershire.

  Jeb Bush would kill a baby !

  ok, specifically he was talking about hitler.

  apparently he was asked whether, if he could go back in time, he would kill him when he was a baby.. and he said "hell yeah !".

  Simon: He had three options:

  1) duck the question

  2) say he would kill a baby

  3) say he would allow the holocaust

  All three options are bad & none of them give us any insight in his politics, morals or anything relevant. If this is not an example of a stupid question I can't say what is.

  Reason of financial problems WTS

  a non-witness insider told me this week that the wts has financial problems.

  that lead to halting down their building plans and lay off the special pioneers and.

  bethelites.. the reason of the financial stagnation is beside some bad investments,.

  Thanks Gorby, it seems there are more and more indications of critical voices within the org. One has to wonder if forcing them to stay in at high positions is really all that great for the org in the long run.
