What utter utter bullshit. It's all we've heard for the past 3 months !
Well, I still haven't seen anyone actually do that (call someone a racist for bringing up the email issue). I certainly haven't.
all that talk about hillary clinton's unsecured e-mails?
read the following:.
"deagazio posted additional photos from the weekend, including one of his dining companions kissing trump on the cheek, a selfie with white house strategist steve bannon and another selfie identifying a man named rick who he says is responsible for carrying the nuclear “football,” which allows the president to authorize a nuclear attack while away from the white house.. "“this is rick,” wrote deagazio.

"It’s debatable whether Flynn broke any laws by ..."
If it's debatable, then make the case or shut up. What has it got to do with Hillary's email server and her lies?
There is good evidence Flynn has lied about his contact with the Russian embassy and then went on to mislead Pence. That naturally raises the question of what that contact consisted of and whether any laws were broken. This contact should be seen in the light of the ongoing FBI investigation of the Trump investigation and the allegations of Russian hacking.
We can't know if laws were broken yet because the facts are still not in.. since you believe the claims about election fraud should be investigated fully due to their serious nature I would suppose (?) you would also support an investigation into this question as well.

I just love how the left can claim what someone's motives are. If you didn't like Clinton's email debacle and think she lied about it, suddenly you are a racist.
That is a very illogical argument to be sure, but I can't say I have seen it made on this site or anywhere else actually...

VI: I think fear rather than racism is the key word. Trumps basic message is that everything has gone and is going to hell -- the US is run down, the military is shit, the economy is shit, all jobs are going overseas, Muslim terrorists are posing an existential threat, all politicians are crooked, the media is lying, Obamacare is failing "next year", it is bad, bad, bad and the only thing that can be done is to break with the establishment (Hillary) and solely focus on the interests of the (middle-class) US.
This kind of pervasive pessimism and fear is really the main thread through most "new right" discussion of american politics.

Yah this is a total clusterfuck... notice the picture where people are lighting the papers with their phones(!). Secret service, by the way, provide a mobile isolated unit to discuss these things.
As an aside: Why are nobody bothered that Trump basically uses the Japanese prime minister as a kind of prop in his own club where he is selling access to himself? (the fee for Mar Lago just doubled from 100K to 200K a year).
On the issue of national security, the Flynn-thing is still rolling. Flynn contacted the Russian embassy several times after Trump was elected and initially claimed (as did Pence) that he did not discuss sanctions. Many IC sources (they bug the embassy as per standard SIGINT procedure) are now saying that Flynn did discuss sanctions and Flynn is retracting to the usual "I can't remember" response. Reading a bit between the lines of what has been said Flynn likely encrypted some of the communication -- why?
I would strongly recommend this background article:

I wonder where the "Hillarys email server" crowd is on this one...
great visualization of the voting difference from the election!.

Spoletta: There are ongoing investigations in the Trump administration, it is just not being reported that much for some reason. It is believed the FBI obtained a FISC (financial transactions) search order in October 2016 (the initial request made in the summer was narrowed). In addition to this the recent problems for Flynn (the ongoing relevelations he lied about discussing sanctions with the Russians) was brought to light by intelligence sources who moniter communication with the Russian ambassy. It is important to notice that the article in the WAPO on Flynn had 9 (!) separate sources which is unprecedented.
The whole "I got a buisness that can be influenced by foreign governments but but that ain't unconstitutional" thing will eventually be tried in court and according to at least one expert constitutional lawyer it is unconstitutional.
In addition to this someone has dug up a 1929 law that might force Trump to release his tax returns for the past 10 years ;-).
I can give you some generally reliable sources about the ongoing investigations if you are interested.
it seems that the other threads about trump's policies are veering off into endless ideological theories about how much better we are than islam.
does anyone think there is a chance that islam can be changed in the same manner that christianity has over the centuries?
with the inflow of ideas from western countries into the middle east, will people gradually want to move away from sharia law to something less patriarchal and cruel?
Islam has already been reformed... otherwise, there would be no such thing as "Islamic reformers".
The problem in these conversations is that people talk about Islam as one thing and think about Islams religious texts, sexist and horrible as they may be, as determining what Muslims must believe similar to how Newtons laws determine how a ball drops to the ground.
In practice, religion is nearly infinitely malleable and the religious texts of all religions (including Islam) can be interpreted in a million different ways.

hoping more companies start doing the same.

I agree that DT should offer more transparency about which companies he own and who they own money to than what would simply show up in a tax return. A tax return is just the basic level of financial transparency which he refuses to offer..

Arguments that Trump does not need to show his tax returns are in my opinion quite ridiculous. It is well-known he owns hundreds of millions to hostile governments as well as nearly 100 limited liability companies. What are these companies doing? Who exactly has financial power over Trump? Nobody knows...
Even entry-level positions in intelligence services require regular polygraph tests as well as disclosure of very personal details about one's private life. Requiring just a fraction of the same disclosure for the person who is ultimately in charge of running the country is in my view a no-brainer.

This is only tangentially related, but regarding free speech and the crazy left, I think Mitch McConnell just silenced Elizabeth Warren because he wanted the senate to be a safe space lol!
I have a feeling that Warren 2020 might just have been launched ;-).
