Ah hah! This MUST be why God did not choose to have his most significant revelation in China but rather the illiterate Middle East.

have we noticed how often the society uses comments like this?.
"jehovah's witnesses are the most honest people...etc".
while it may be true that witnesses as a whole are decent, law abiding people, are they truely "honest" when the very foundation of beliefs are based on mistruths?.
How can they claim honesty when they use 'theocratic warfare', ie God's supposedly sanctioned lying, to protect Jehoober's name?

my husband is still asleep but he will get up in about an hour for work so i'm going to quickly tell you my inconclusive conclusion.
i don't know if i can believe in god anymore.
i have come to the simple conclusion that he is either dead or evil but he is definitely not loving.

This has not been my experience. Every Christian I've ever spoken to expects Jesus to return during their lifetime.
the article (faith) is all about why you should have solid evidence based reasons for belief in god.
it's not good enough to believe in god just because you were raised to believe in god.. (from the article).
but god wants those who worship him to have genuine confidence in his existence and in his love.. then it goes on to tell us how we can get that genuine confidence that there is a god.

Once I realized the Bible, God(s), and religion are all based on ancient mythology, my nightmares ceased.
