  No longer qualifies to share in the ministry?

  i heard that co's were provided with a talk outline in which people who dress and act too "gay" could eventually "no longer qualify to share in the ministry", should they not change the way they look!.

  has anyone else ever heard of any other reason for which someone would be disqualified from the ministry?.

  Has anyone else ever heard of any other reason for which someone would be disqualified from the ministry?

  I don't know for sure, but I would highly suspect having an issue like dementia, Alzheimer's or Tourettes Syndrome might disqualify you. My Father has dementia - he has no idea what they are talking about anymore and no longer remembers the religion. He cannot string together a complete sentence. His choice of words makes no sense now. And sometimes he takes his clothes off or pours his soup at lunch into his shoe.

  Far fewer references to lesbians

  i notice that while a search of the wt library reveals many references to homosexuals, there are few references to lesbians.. does the wts include women when it uses the term homosexual?.

  when discussing masturbation, does it mention both sexes?.

  i am asking out of pure ignorance, seeking clarification.. my only comment is that religion of every shade has difficulty with the subject of sexual activity, as if it were something that is not part of nature.. doug.

  DD, I asked my parents if they believe God to be the Creator of all things, why would he create homosexuality if he hates it so?

  They had no answer but were clearly pissed off with my question.

  Edited to add: BTW, the Bible does say God created evil in Isaiah 45:7.

  why are jw's not allowed to do certain things because they have "pagan origins", yet the very same roof over their head and the the food they place into their mouth is purchased through money with pagan origins on it?

  pagan symbolism is all over money.

  so if the wt leaders are so against paganism, why are they insisting "jehovah's" earthly organization needs pagan money to sustain itself, yet disfellowshipping members if they cross the line into paganism?.

  Light Getting Brighter

  hello, maybe someone on here can make some sense out of this:.

  one of the reasons why jws are so quick to believe any changes from the gb is that they believe the light is getting brighter.

  now there have been some teachings that to my knowledge changed at one point but then were reverted back to the original teaching.

  How can you trust that you are being given correct information?

  These are excellent questions to ask any JW. I suspect you'll get some bs answer like 'the lite getting brighter' or the stunned deer-in-the-headlights look.

  They're booting more out of Bethel... new dumbed down book "What Can the Bible Teach Us?"... they need money, money, MONEY!... they have halted a lot of construction, changes in Ministry School and service meeting, seems some are pushing child baptism more and more,
