DD, I asked my parents if they believe God to be the Creator of all things, why would he create homosexuality if he hates it so?
They had no answer but were clearly pissed off with my question.
Edited to add: BTW, the Bible does say God created evil in Isaiah 45:7.

Pagan Origins
by Illuminated inwhy are jw's not allowed to do certain things because they have "pagan origins", yet the very same roof over their head and the the food they place into their mouth is purchased through money with pagan origins on it?
pagan symbolism is all over money.
so if the wt leaders are so against paganism, why are they insisting "jehovah's" earthly organization needs pagan money to sustain itself, yet disfellowshipping members if they cross the line into paganism?.

one of the reasons why jws are so quick to believe any changes from the gb is that they believe the light is getting brighter.
now there have been some teachings that to my knowledge changed at one point but then were reverted back to the original teaching.

These are excellent questions to ask any JW. I suspect you'll get some bs answer like 'the lite getting brighter' or the stunned deer-in-the-headlights look.

I did like the Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey team in "True Detective". I've seen that episode and it struck me how well it could be applied to not just JWs but many religious people I've had discussions with.
