If God himself came down and told you " Dont listen to anyone who thinks they know when Jesus is coming or when the end of the world is gonna be" " Only I know when things are gonna happen, not anyone else, so dont even bother trying to work it out. You are saying the setting of DATES is irrelevant.....Acts 1 : 7...TIMES & SEASONS / Luke 21 : 8....DUE TIME... / Matt 24 : 36....DAY & HOUR .

All of these verses speak to those who are trying to work out DAYS, MONTHS, YEARS.........you know...DATES.. on when something is going to happen. God says JUST DON'T DO IT !

Taught for 50yrs that Christs invisible presence began in 1874 , then changed it to 1914

Taught that Kingdom rule started in 1914 but for years taught that this took place in 1878

Believed the 'last days' began in 1799, the resurrection of the annointed took place in 1918 whereas before they said it begain in 1881

From 1914 and particularly 1919 onward they said the 'harvest' was underway, before that 1874to 1914 was the 'harvest' and 1914 would see the destruction of the world system.

Fall of Babylon the Great would be 1919, before that they said it would be 1878 with the completion of it being round about 1914 or 1918

1925 would mark the return of Abraham , Isaaac, and Jacob.......(they even built a house for them and called it Beth Sarem) ...this was predicted in 1917, 1881 and 1888. They sold the house in 1948.

1975 Armageddon would take place

HOW MANY OF THESE DAYS, TIMES, SEASONS....DATES , SAW THE FULFILLMENT OF THEIR PREDICTIONS ? That's right ! NONE. Why?......answer Deut 18 : 20 - 22.

For the record, it must be concluded that Beth Sarim alone bears a testimony to the fact that its a monument to a False Prophet and to False Prophecy......Rutherford at one time asked, "How are we to know whether one is a true or a false prophet?" His answer........"If one is a true prophet, his message will come to pass EXACTLY as prophesied. If he is a false prophet, his prophecy will FAIL to come to pass............(WT May 15 1930 pg 154)

A TRUE PROPHET OF GOD WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO PROCLAIM FALSE PROPHECIES.

The org. have a 100% failure rate. Gods TRUE prophets have a 100% success rate.

You have said that the org. doesn't make original prophecies but only proclaims those already found in scripture. It has published predictions centered on certain dates NOWHERE found in scripture. God's prophets dont ever speak with a mixture of truth and error. The org. claims to be a prophet of God, yet dispels any responsibility that comes with that claim........funny eh?

And yes! Biblical prophets perhaps did make mistakes.......BUT THEY DID NOT MAKE MISTAKES WHEN THEY WERE PROPHESYING. No genuine biblical example of an 'error' can be found in the prophecies of any TRUE prophet of God. Like I said.....100% success rate!

So feel free to keep on defending your org. who has CLEARLY gone against scripture.........who truly are a FALSE prophet and whom God has said NOT TO GO AFTER THEM.

If you were listening to him......cos you truly LOVE the scriptures... then this is exactly what you would and should be doing!

TO DEATH. You may say to yourselves, "How can we know when a message has not been spoken by the lord?" If what a prohet proclaims in the name of the lord DOES

WHAT HAPPENED TO THE WT ORGANIZATIONS LOVE OF BIBLE SCRIPTURE ? They have for years gone against these very ones. Yes! They will apply these scriptures to other individuals, groups and religions ....but NOT to themselves. Is it a "mistake" to knowingly go against the very word of God ? The WT org are well known for their date setting / mistakes, yet somehow don't see how these scriptures apply to them.

I know exactly what your response will be......It will be to defend and excuse what they have done in perfect imitation of your leaders. You accept the direction of your leaders you say.......So no doubt your response will be what your leaders have already said : -

Feb 1st WT 1952 pg 79,80 You are told to disregard their past trail of unfulfilled predictions and to reject their erroneous teachings.

Mar 22nd 1993 Aw pg 3 They ask "Why so many False Alarms" They put it across as 'It's only our opinion'

Mar 15 WT 1986 pg 19 They speak of those who 'question' their prophecies...then go on to discuss what their motives are in doing this instead of explaining themselves.

Sept 15 1998 pg 10 "It is easy for the established churches of Christendom and other people to criticize JWs because their publications have, at times, stated that certain things could take place on certain dates.........True, some expectations did not materialize at the anticipated time. But is it not preferrable to make some mistakes because of over-eagerness to see God's purposes accomplished than to be spiritually asleep as to the fulfillment of Bible prophecy?

I would take over the presses to print new book that reveals the truth about the org. and their lies, teachings, hypocrisy and everything they have been involved in. Every congregation would be flooded with these books with a good amount set aside for the general public. I would have letters sent to the BOE in every congregation worldwide to be read out , apologising profusely for the manipulation and control that the GB has had over its members. I would make use of every media tool to expose the JW org in the world domain.

I would have the Kingdom Halls used as drop in centres, fully staffed with psychiatrists, psychologists and life coaches , for advise, support and counselling to all those mentally and emotionally damaged by WT rules. I would sell off all the Bethel Buildings, Assembly Halls, Cars, Farms and everything in Brooklyn and put the money into a fund for families of those who have lost members due to the Blood policy and organ transplant teaching. Money would also be set aside for those affected by the Child Abuse policy.

For those ' die hards ' who still felt it was "God's Organization", I would issue each and every one of them with a copy of Steve Hassan's Book " Combatting Cult Mind Control".......free of charge !

this study will set the tone for future-proofing the watchtower society doctrine that their governing body is "the faithful slave" mentioned in parable by jesus in matthew24.. i thought as i read the study article starting on p.20 that the most important thing about this piece is what is missing, what is not said.. the first paragraph sets the tone of what they are trying to convey.. "while giving the composite sign of the last days jesus said, who really is the faithful and discreet slave?".

i believe what they are doing with the opening paragraph is placing the authority and position of "the slave" within the context of the signs of the times thus attempting to validate it.

without mentioning when they became such.. they then say that jesus would "reward" and appoint this slave over all his belongings.

It's the same trick that they've always used. The gradually mention something less and less until they stop mentioning it all together. The desired effect is achieved when the R & F just forget all about what ever it is they want to unhook themselves from. Out of sight , out of mind they say.
