These kids are already being taught to worship Obama as if he were some kind of god. That's what kids in North Korea, Cuba, Saddam Hussein's old Iraq, and other totalitarian regimes were taught to do as well. The purpose is if they grow up seeing their leaders as god-like they're less likely to rise up against them.

Check out the beginning of the video which says this took place at a neighbor's house in Venice, California, as if it were some kind of spontaneous, grassroots effort by a bunch of musically inclined neighborhood families, but the video itself doesn't support that. They have t-shirts with what looks like a professionally designed logo, and they had to have spent many hours with these kids teaching them to sing in harmony a song that doesn't sound like it was written by some random parent. Nope, I'm not buying what these Obama worshipers are selling.

Show-down with elder at the kingdom hall

this is podcast 8 in the death or obedience series.. this was recorded on christmas day 2008.. after our last visit from two local elders my wife felt she could no longer be known as a jehovah's witness and had chosen to disassociate herself in november 2008.. we had been on a family holiday and had returned to find that one of the local elders who had visited us had warned off my mother-in-law from having anything to do with my wife - her daughter.

he also made false statements about one of my children.. i decided to confront this elder at the kingdom hall.

this podcast is the recording of our conversation.. notice how he denies making such statements to my mother-in-law and falsely accuses me of teaching her beliefs contrary to jehovah's witnesses.. i ask whether it's a sin to no longer be a jehovah's witness?.

I think Matt shocked Ronnie as he was audibly showing that he wasn't part of the 'groupthink' any more (as besty pointed out.) He stood up on his own, showing this elder that the spell was now broken and he could challenge him on his spiteful words. Although he apologised , (because he recognised he was in the wrong), its clear that this 'discussion' with Matt then turned on it's head and Ronnie then saw that Matt was the offender. This was evident when he then used this occasion, as well as the shepherding visits to bring judicial proceedings against him. He even testified as a witness to the fact that Matt was apostate in his thinking. What Russell said above sums up the orgs view of all us apostates........ Im sure this would have been Rons view of Matt's 'agression' .........although perhaps not in the graphic terms used by Russell........"innoculated with madness and satanic rabies". The essence of these words permeate the thoughts of elders the world over when someone becomes a 'concern' through 'questioning' and 'non-acceptance of teachings. It's no wonder they dont want to help or listen to your 'concerns' about the org. or their teachings. They know your mouth is moving, but all they see is the white foam.........

My experience with the Bethel Legal Dept. regarding a Ministerial Servant molesting a boy

so be warned.. the body of elders received word that an unmarried ministerial servant, age 20, had been seen fondling a younger male bible student, age 14. the ministerial servant himself had been studying with the boy.

the ministerial servant was a quiet, timid brother.

The elder didn't have 'hearsay' from the mum, they had an 'eye witness' account from the mum.

lol He also asked the audience if they noticed that the attendance at the memorial (197) was any different from previous years. Did they notice that they weren't getting the "once-a-year-ers" that used to always turn up. Now it was Bible studies etc.....people already involved and attending the hall.

What does that say? They are obviously not very successful in drawing your average Joe Bloggs to their 'wonderful' , 'extremely important' 'once a year' meeting. They can perhaps now only be assured of attendance by those already on their way to full indoctrination. He actually seemed to be quite pleased by the fact that there was some kind of quality and substance to the attendees as opposed to these "once-a-year-ers".

It obviously comes across that whatever the severity of the case me be, the org. will deal with it in the same cold, sober manner......... by-the-book. Yes, the will do exactly what is required of them, by reporting it to the authorities "if the state demands it". But that is it. It often goes no further than their own 'secret' data-base. Their aim is to protect themselves. If these laws weren't in place then we know that all these reports and accusations would be dealt with in house. Their main concern is not to be connected with something like this in any way, and the word 'Jehovah' or 'Jehovah's Witnesses' shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence as 'sexual abuse' or 'molestation', hence the stipulation about keeping quiet about certain information and not revealing your identity. It's all about protecting their reputation and image and always will be. That will never change!

With this MS hot footing it out of town and being DF in his absence, he got off lightly. There are virtually no repercussions for what happened, and no-one besides the elders would probably know about it. I've said this before about the orgs policy on child abuse......With their failure to report to the police, unless specifically asked to do so, they are playing a big part in furthering the abuse of children.
