Is Being Disfellowshipped or Disassociated All That Bad?

most jws dread the thought of never being talked to again by a fellow "brother" or "sister".

the thought of being shunned by your flesh and blood keeps many witnesses in the religion.. is df'ing or dissasociation all that terrible?

in fact , there isn't a such thing in Bible named "God's earthly organisation" (even spirit directed)

God has "people" on earth today .... the fact that his people has to obey His commandments make him "distinct" people like old Israel Deut 4:1-9

from Jesus onward this people is composed by all "congregations" of Christ , so, no-organisation

in the Congregation God appointed no GB , but : 1Cor 12

28 And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondly prophets, thirdly teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, divers kinds of tongues.

29 Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?

the wt "definition" for organisation somehow would fit with "God's Kingdom" , but the kingdom is only in Heaven now , not yet on earth !

the christians were taught by Jesus to pray for its coming on earth : only then , the "real" arrangement of God will be on earth !

until then, we live in expectation of its "coming"

1 Now we beseech you, brethren, touching the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and our gathering together unto him;

2 to the end that ye be not quickly shaken from your mind, nor yet be troubled, either by spirit, or by word, or by epistle as from us, as that the day of the Lord is just at hand;

One of the Governing Body had a stroke yesterday

on may 19th, theodore jaracz had a stroke.

he's in very serious condition in the hospital.. that's all the information i have for now.. barb.

all the information confirms the fact that those who are/where "leaders" over the simple believers are in fact "weeds" (and not wheat)

the harvest is here , the judgement has begun from "God's house" , the "stars" are falling down from "heaven" - God is right !

the "Beast" together with "the false prophet" is just now being "caught"

we are living today the "spiritual" fulfillment of Ezekiel 21:25-27

25. " 'O profane and wicked prince of Israel, whose day has come, whose time of punishment has reached its climax,

26. this is what the Sovereign LORD says: Take off the turban, remove the crown. It will not be as it was: The lowly will be exalted and the exalted will be brought low.

yet a little time and the Kingdom will be given to "HIM"

who is HIM ? "that one which right now is lowly "

please, all of you, try to understand the prophecies -- they represents "God's point of view" !

the beast also was represented by the "daughter of Babylon" see what is to happen with "her" : read all Isaiah 47.

hi all on this forum.. i am very confused and lost and annoyed.. i was a jw for 28 years and then left not really believing and not really sure if there was a good or not, there was just to much hypocrisy in the kh and within the society.. dont be materalistic yet some pioneers seem to be able to have three cars and go on three holidays a year and somehow still make there hours.. the other point that really annoyed me was that my sister was treated like a criminal when she was dissfellowshipped which she was forced into, a elder would not stop coming to see her to convince her to come even if it was just for my parents, he said the only way this would stop is if she was to dissfellowship herself, now she was single living alone and saw no other choice but to do this.. so she was ignored and when she moved back to the scotland to get help with a wee one she had she did get help from my folks untill a elder reported them to the co and they had to stop.

now she was getting married so is no longer going to live in sin and my folks refused to go to the wedding as they would lose there position in the kh - despite that they decided to park outside the hotel so they could see my sister and kids go into the hotel and see them in there outfits, it is just wrong my sister was so hurt by this and her husband my best mate was so angry.

due to all that has happend over the year i dont know if i believe in god now,i would love to but i dont know how and whom do i trust.. .

I begged her to let me record her story on tape, but she refused saying she intended to write a book about it someday. Shortly after that, less than a year later, she died. Her book was never written and the story died with her, except for the little bit that she told me.

It's been 10 years now and I can't even remember her name...God, I wish I could, because it would be easy to verify all her missionary work in New Mexico probably.

"today" it is the time when Jehovah is fulfilling this (His ) work;

Isaiah 42:

16 I will lead the blind by ways they have not known,
along unfamiliar paths I will guide them;
I will turn the darkness into light before them
and make the rough places smooth.
These are the things I will do;
I will not forsake them.

Jesus said to seek first the Kingdom of God, (Matt 6:33 ) so , all of us who want to be christians have to obey this comandment of Jesus , and the Father will proceed with us according to His promesses in Isaiah.

in fact now is the time when all religions (including that of JW's ) are proven being wrong , and all people discerning that are invited to get out of them and to prepare to enter in the Kingdom (of God ).

The Kingdom is at the point of coming on earth ! please see Rev. 22:7-17.

Be trustfull !

God's kingdom:is it possible to define it ?

since i am working on an essay about "gods kingdom or the kingdom of heaven" i would appreciate how people describe or define this expression,apart from the watchtower definition.. is it only another metaphor for god's eternal universal reign?.

do we have to see it in a pre-post- or amillenial setting?.

is it only something in the mind and heart,or will it like, daniel2:44 says, one time be the only government over (or on) the earth.. if it started his activities after jesus death and ressurrection in the 1st century what has been the influence since then?.

that is the bottom line for a witness.

i have tried so many times to reason with witnesses, and they react the same as i did almost all my life.

the only success i am having is hopefully planting some seeds, because that worked with me, over a period of time.. many threads on here describe reasonings and great points designed to "wake up" witnesses.
