The Watchtower - June 15, 1970 p.382, 383 Has a detailed arcticle on how the 144K "know" they are annointed. It also discusses the year 1935. It also gives information on how members of the 144K are replaceable even with newbie witnesses if they prove unfaithful.

Radar, I take Acts 7 as literal.
As for Carmel, I disagree with the last part of his comment on Jesus. 1 John 2:22; 1 John 4:2

Evidence of creation?
by chappy innot trying to start a discussion about extra-terrestrial life, but i assume that most feel it to be a rather strong possibility whether your belief is in creation, evolution or both.. i agree that discovery of intelligent life outside this world doesn't prove creation.
suppose however that such life were discovered and that it was of the homo-saphien variety?
what would be the odds of this happening through pure evolution?

Evolutionists have a miracle called "convergence" which allows them to believe that very similar structures such as the mammal eye and the squid eye evolved separately. They invoke this mysterious and incredible miracle when they have to explain similar structures and designs when their normal miracle of "common descent" can't be called upon.

Two recent WT arcticles (which should be easy to bring up) may help you to directly and quickly separate the witnesses faith in God from their faith in the organization. This may be more effective in the limited amount of time that you have with them rather than an indirect "mind control" approach, which I believe may require more time than which you will have. Just as us Christains faith in the Bible and in God are inseparable, so the witnesses faith in God and the organization become blended. These two arcticles may help you to help them to separate their faith in God from faith in the WT, thus allowing them to still keep faith and security when you later bring up damaging information.
The WT 2-01-1996 p. 23 makes doubting the organization the same as doubting God and his Word.
Ask "Is doubting an organization the same as doubting God and his word?"
Ask "If hypothetically you for some reason lost faith in the WT Org. would you still have faith in God and his word? Give examples of people in other organizations who although they lost faith in their particular religion STILL kept their faith in God and the Bible.
The WT 3-15-1996 p. 16,17 makes loyalty to the organization more important than loyalty to God's word.
Ask "Should we put loyalty to a religious organization ABOVE loyalty to GOd's word?"
Don't argue whether or not God has an an organization but whether or not loyalty to God's word should be placed above organizational loyalty? Use Jesus's words about putting God's word above mans.

Didn't Stephen see the son of man (Acts 7) before he tasted death?

"telling lies for god", a large portion of which discussed, and debunked, the possibility of noahs ark having been a literal boat.. still, what plimer calls "arkeologists"stage regular forays into turkey, looking for noahs ark on the mythical mount "ararat".. plimer says of these "arkeologists":.

Its amazing how the people here who think that it is ridiculous to believe that their grandparents were eight people on a boat, themselves believe the even more ridiculous notion that their grandparents were FISH and REPTILES!

Abaddon, I'll try to come up with something either from a web-site or, from an at least semi-technical encyclopedia relatively shortly. Thanks

Farkel your argument would be an excellent argument, if flood geologists actually believed that the mountains were at their current height during the flood. However, creationists and flood geologists do not believe that! Instead they believe that during the later stages of the flood, the mountains rose and the ocean valleys were depressed.

The Watchtower mis defines apostacy as leaving a religious organization. True apostates are those who leave God and Christ, not those who leave a particular religious organization. After all Charles Taze Russell left the Prespterian Church, then he joined and left the Congretational Church, and then he Joined and left the Second-Adventist movement. Which according to the current watchtower definition of apostacy would make him a 3 time apostate!
