  It is a slippery slope they are teaching about some of the remnant being "mentally unbalanced" or "emotionally unstable" mainly due to the fact they haven't said when this problem started to raise its ugly head.... was it in 1916 when russell died and Rutherford took over and later the GB was set up - who is to say who is unbalanced... since we are all imperfect, who is to say what we have been learning is from those who are mentally stable??? No one can point fingers - its the societies teaching that is unbalanced... they forget that the role of a prophet is to reveal the will of God, and guess what? That will does not make mistakes... the society has made a lot! and maybe this is Jah's way of pointing this out.... raise the numbers, change the "generation" teaching again, making 1914 obsolete which then extends the old system to "we don't really know" date..... which is what it should have been from the start!

  If what SGOE said from Barr is correct -- only 20% are valid GB members -- of that 1 in 3 statistically are mentally unstable... are we in trouble???

  my JW guy married me - an unbeliever-- and never pulled the headship control over me, even when I became a JW --in fact, he was for women receiving equal pay and position -- he was an elder later on and never changed his outlook on women!! We did everhtything together and got great enjoyment out of life... Loved that guy, now deceased

  The baking soda sounds good - it gets rid of the acid buildup in the body which the cancer thrives in -- eat foods that keep the body in an alkaline state and theoretically, no cancer can grow -- beef and other foods high in acid are not good for a regular diet... have it sparingly

  A couple of questions hit me when this lesson was being presented:

  1) OK, going door to door - a sister or two are set to do a presentation - the wife/partner answers - the sister asked to speak with the husband -- kind of a turn off for te wife/mate in this gender equality world we live in -- then if he is not home, she wants to know why you cant speak to her and why do you want him??? Does not look to respectful in her eyes.

  2) So now the man, men are flocking into the congregations.(sarcastic)... the reason for this article is that the cong males young and older are not reaching out for "POSITIONS" anymore - like the priests they talk about so much as having serious issues, the males in the congregations are no better. Now the new guys have to go thru a waiting period and that now is about a year for a newly converted male -remember several months ago a lesson stating this fact..... hummm I smell a rat.. we are going to get these newly baptized young squirts to tell the congregations of older age what to do!! Oh my Gawd.....

  This lesson turned me OFF!

  troubled former witness calls legal department at the watchtower organization.............. dale beckman says, can the "society" be guilty of "alienation of affection?

  " in my case, my family has been told it is proper to hate me and to do nothing to help me in any way - otherwise, they could be considered a sharer in my works of "unforgivable sin.

  " they are told not to even greet me.

  He does not look too prosperous, he speaks as if he is in depression, who would not be in his situation?? Twice I hear someone at his door, so he must be living with relatives? friends? without a job and the wife getting his business? his home is sold, no job, it is a wonder he has not gone postal. He spoke so calmly to the legal department and says he has Asbergers, I think....

  Personally, I think this is the calm before the storm - something is wrong with his wife, I would think, to take her husband the way she has - everything taken, was he that bad a husband, a father, a bread winner? He does not seem to be a bully or tyrant....What is his story? Is there no such thing as 50/50 split when a divorce happens? What is wrong with the judge? I cant figure it out... everything has gone against him..... Did I miss something when he was telling his story? I know the elders do a job on you and they can influence the wife, but the legalities of everything else does not add up.. and if he has nothing how can she get $120,000 from someone who has nothing left?

  He definitely needs a lawyer.. contingency.... someone out of state who would take the case...

  From what info I see, it was written by a "brother" - the info that Jehovahs name is in there 6, 972 times is incorrect - only the OT is showing that the Lord is replaced by the name Jehovah... nothing in the NT, apparently the brother spent 4 years travelling?? and the idea came to him in the coffee shop -- where else??

  Emails have been sent out not to take this new KJV serious..

  apparently in US law, anything after 1935 cant be copied du to the copywrite laws, before 1935 copywrite laws dont exist?? maybe someone could correct me on this and apparently you can copywrite the bible, info, etc IF you change wording , case in point, the KJV - that perhaps is the way the WTBTS was able to print the NWT, by changing words,etc... as well as a lot of other bible translations that are out there today...

  America's Most Wanted seeks fugitive hiding in JW community

  from the tv show "america's most wanted" on saturday, sept 26: michael calhoun - 39 y/o white male, 6', 210 lbs - convicted of rape and the attempted murder of an elderly woman.

  wanted for failing to register as a violent sexual predator in ashtabula county, ohio.

  he has psoriasis, is believed to be dealing drugs, and could be hiding out in a jehovah's witness community (amw did not elaborate as to why he could be hiding amongst witnesses).

  America's Most Wanted episode... Rick McLean

  over a month ago, amw filmed several of rick mclean's victims who were victimized while he served in authority in a number of jw congregations in and around san diego, california.. .

  mclean found victims thru his involvement in jw congregations, and kept many quiet for years by intimidation/ 'no one will believe you'.. .

  the episode is 'in the can', and mclean, who fled when he learned he would be arrested, is on the loose.you can bet he is molesting some child presently; he is a lifetime molester.. .

  it was a picture of a happy group of witnesses during a meeting for field service.

  there was a. comment from a local high-horse-rider about a brother in the front row in the picture being disobedient.

  Maybe he has a tablet or Iphone and it cant be noticable.. I soon will - looking now - and am taking it to the hall to watch the eys and halos go up! Getting Asus Tablet transformer primce -- quad processor, should cause alittle stir but at the CA there were several folks usning the tablets to take notes.

  On another not, does anyone know how many times the inference to "OBEY" was used - not as the specific word, but general wording and infusion of thought that leads to obey the fds and elders --I counted 7 in this lesson today... got a little tired of it in the paragraphs..

  They also noted two examples - Abraham and Korah. They did not mention Jehu or Solomon - another two upstanding men who loved and left Jehovah!! Or for that matter Jehu who was so strong for Jehovah and killed people to show his loyalty, left jehovah. Now as we are Jehonadabs -we all know who they are, they have joined to Jehu when he was loyal - was Jehu an antitype of the FDS? If so, he left Jah, he became apostate, where does that leave the FDS and those of us who follow it today as they are always alluding to old testament bring antitypical of the new setup today.. just a thought If the FDS disloyal to Jehovah? Are we Jehonadabs disloyal to God also from following them?

  Sometimes it is so hard to sit thru, the paragraph dealing with work, singleness was not even broght up in the answer -I think people are getting tired of it.... lets hope so --
