Too analytical for his own good, and not as funny as he thought he was.

i was having one of my daily discussions about death ( happy soul that i am ) with mrs. step at breakfast this morning and asked her a profound question:.
one month after i have died, how will people describe me.
this is the answer that i was expecting :.
Too analytical for his own good, and not as funny as he thought he was.
Hmmm
i f you liked the first one then you will like this one.. i found it very funnie.
lots of laughs...then again i think will smith is fabulous (not to mention..what a hottie .
i give it .
I thought it was OK while I was watching it. I was laughing out loud at "Agent M". But ten minutes after it was over, I couldn't have told you what happened in the movie.
Road To Perdition was a good movie. Good acting from the young boy on up to Paul Newman. My favorite movie so far this year would be Minority Report, I guess, but I haven't seen the English movies (Gosford Park, et al) yet.
i was surprized by the deletion of the new book-for-baptism's.
chapter on partaking/being anointed.. can it be that they are thinking of de-emphasizing or fading.
my first reaction would be no, that this.
Minimus,
Can you tell us the date and article of this latest WT?
Thanks,
Hmmm
crawdad actually looks better with a line through him.
his total posts are 666. am i missing a deeper meaning?
a hidden message?
I don't want to paint myself as Crawdad's Crusader, but I agree with you, Jim. The guy/gal was obviously in a lot of pain, having some close contact with the pedophile issue. I don't think he was met with a whole lot of understanding or patience, and I don't think he should be called (or thrown away like) rubbish..
Oh well, I don't really think he was emotionally ready for this board, and I hope he gets some help in dealing with his issues.
Hmmm
I was watching TV and let my post sit there for half an hour before hitting Reply. Sabine, you are the voice of compassion, and I always enjoy your posts.

there is no evidence that our time has any specific biblical prophetic importance if the 1914 claims are wrong.even doctrines like the "two-class" system, which is a unique interpretation by the jehovah's witnesses, is actually dependent on the 1914 date.
the bible states that the final fall and destruction of jerusalem was in the 19th regnal year of nebuchadnezzar (jeremiah 52:12; 2 kings 25:1-4; 2. chron 26:11,19).
the most secure source of absolute dates comes from contemporary inscription with astronomical observations.
Jan,
Thanks for reposting this. I remember reading similar information in excerpts from COJ's book years ago and being horrified by it, wondering "how am I going to refute this if anyone brings it up in the ministry?"
Hmmm
.
i know what it stands for, but who are the u.a.d.n.a., and what do they try to accomplish specifically, and why?
The fizz has gone out of the UADNA. It's openly discussed and bandied about at tea parties... It seems we're witnessing the beginning of the end of the UADNA.
click on this line to read the b.b.c.
panorama expose on the spiritual paradise for pedophiles - the watchtower society!
hit the nail on the head from the howling and gnashing of teeth it has produced from amongst the jehovah's witless drones, who have email-bombed the b.b.c.
Thank you Focus.
Just one question, though: Where do you stand on the claim that the WTS is a pedophile paradise? I'm not sure that came across as clearly as it could have

i've only just joined but i would be grateful if you could give me some information on this ngo business.. i live in england, am completly ignorant and no nothing about the un (everything i learnt in school went in one ear and out the other as did much else i learnt!).
i would be grateful if someone could explain what ngo is exactly and how jw's were involved with it.. much appreciated.
Get ready for a visit by the elders if you send information off to Bethel. You'll have to explain why you're visiting "apostate" sites.
I'm with larc: Give the whole God/no god issue some time. I've been out for years and that issue is still on the back burner for me. It just aint that important in my life right now. If there is a God, I'm sure she'll understand that I'm a little gun-shy
I would also recommend reading Crisis of Conscience, by former governing body member Ray Franz. It's fascinating to see how things really worked behind the scenes, and he does a good job of reasoning on the whole "organization" issue.
Hmmm
little girl: crying........ he made me do it again.... .
elder: you are lying, you are just making this up.
little girl: crying,...........pleading,.............this is the third time.. how come you don't believe me?.........you know it's true.....cry cry.
I think crawdad can be like a bull in a china shop at times (OK, all the time) but I do get what he's saying, and I think it's pretty powerful at times.

RunnnigMan,
Your actuarial table evidence was quite compelling. Pretty soon the number of Witnesses in that age group will be greater than the total number of people in that age group worldwide.
I tend to agree with dantheman. They need to dumb down doctrine for the new six-month converts, with the added benefit of it being easier to scrap as they continue to maintstream.
