  This thread is not about you, it's about poor witness007. Remember the one with the crazy wife??

  This thread is also about people who 'support' everybody who posts hard-luck tales on this Board without the slightest sense of judgement and thus empower them in their, perhaps totally unjustified views on things. I made this thread so, because it needs to be said.

  I am sure that Witness007's wife has a quite different tale to tell. Why do you people automatically assume that those who post such stories on this Board have told you the full story? This displays an incredible naeivity that once upon a time was not even countenanced on this Board. We seem to be attracting a type of XJW these days who are social outcasts from the WTS rather than ideological ones. They were probably social JW's and have just reversed the process, as the majority of reactions to this thread evidence.

  As to JK666. He is just trolling for reactions because he is obsessed with getting revenge on Hillary Step who once held a mirror to his pouting face.

  Our exchanges are ALWAYS provoked by your good self who seems to be unable to stop following me around from thread to thread like a poodle looking for lunch. If you truly want to be 'done with you', then just put down the bottle, focus on something that stirs your emotions a little less, cease your Hillary Step obsession ( I know that it is hard. ;)) and grow up man!

  You have still not apologized for your feeble attempt to 'out' me and suggest that I was a moderator. The person who misinformed you of this has been man enough to apologize, but I doubt whether you have this sort of humility, or sense of fair play. You have not apologized for your deliberate misrepresentation on this thread. One by one, people on this Board are getting your game JK666.

  1) The 'Bwaahhahaha' phrase is not of my making, but is Vinny's bleat. I merely used it to show him how ridiculous he looks using it. You should know by now as you have also been made to look ridiculous more often than is decent, just how this works. Try to read posts with care before the rage blinds you, little man.

  2) The issue is NOT whether a lawyer is needed but that the {{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{cuddly club}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}} immediately sides with a poster without hearing both sides of the tale, or checking the veracity of either the poster or his story. THAT is the mark of the {{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{cuddly club}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}} and should give you an idea why you are such a dismal loser. Whether to get a lawyer or not is NOT an issue. Whether this poster is being empowered by people who are acting on the slimmest of information and making foolish judgements with half the facts is what this is about.

  hey everybody,.

  i have tried in the past to defend others when i thought they were being abused.. case 1: a gay poster was banned, and i lobbied to get him reinstated to this board.

  eventually, he was able to come back on.

  You have highlighted an interesting phenomena that I have only seen happening on XJW Boards.

  1) A desire to believe everything written without recourse to reason or sound judgement.

  2) A ridiculous assumption that a person can really be 'supported' on a discussion board by anything but information.

  3) An inclination to whine and bleat, carry grudges and try to extract some sort of verbal revenge when faceless, nameless people use words that upset us. Words are just words. What our mind does with them shows more about us than anything any person might write about us.

  4) An inability for a person to realize that rather than posting on discussion boards they should be concentrating on getting professional therapeutic help and getting their lives together.

  Perhaps some, or all of these points apply to non XJW boards, I am sure they do, but I have not seen them to any great degree on other boards that I read from time to time.

  Expert Musicial Equipment Guy Needed~ I need advice!

  okay, here's the deal: i need someone who is very well educated in the field of microphones and pa systems and musical equipment.

  i am completely confused and need to be able to speak to someone about what i'm hearing out of all these other bands playing and be able to answer why they sound bad, besides what they actually think is a 'song.

  ' it's not just the song that sucks, it's almost as if there's a lacking of a clean, crisp clarity.

  Jaguar has given you some very good tips. Another one is to make sure that where you play has a decent sound engineer. They are worth their weight in gold as they can tune your sound to the environment. Often, even a loud and crude band can be tailored to make sense of a limited environment and the quality of the equipment (mikes etc) while important is not the most important factor. You can mike up with the best of rigs but if not engineered properly, the sound will be of a very low grade.

  Most amateur bands rely on their own ears to tune a venue and that is fatal. Glen Ballou wrote a significant book on the subject and it is worth a read. If I recall correctly it is titled, 'Sound Engineers Handbook'. By the time you finish you will be in a position to know where and how to go with the sound of your band. Amateur drummers and bass players are often the biggest problem in a band as in many cases they want to sound as loud as they can at the expense of the music that they are playing! This is where the sound engineer pads the kick-drum with the drummers clothes and tells the bass guitarist to shut up and hold the tune else he will do something painful with the jack.
