Sometimes, it just ain't any fun...
by safe4kids ini took my kids on a vacation to disney world...their dream vacation, actually, although it didn't turn out that way.
midway through we get a call that their grandmother (the real one, who was never a dub and who hasn't ever turned her back on the kids or on me even thru my divorce from her son, unlike my own jw mother) is in serious condition at the hospital.
we spent one of our 'vacation' days sitting in a hospital icu waiting room, timing our 15 minute visits so that we could see her, and throughout it all the kids were troopers.

Well It's time for me to leave.
by outoftheorg inat least i am giving it a try.. i have had some minor surgery.
nothing to worry about, but it put me out of physical action for the last two weeks.
this gave me lots of time to think and browse this forum.

Sf.........he wasnt on here 3yrs ago.........it was a different board. A JW board if I remember lyieyes correctly (she isnt in the room to ask right now).
SS.......I wish you could have been there when Lyineyes said what she did about us being apostates and the look on his face.....tone in his voice........when he said he wasn't "like us". He was in total JW mode when he said that........looking down at us all, and we let it go. No...no rule........but dont look down on me while you are about to go party it up with us. Make sense??
