Mankkeli I left and have found true happiness and peace. You tell people to go to the elders and confess your sins about being here? Who the hell are the Elders to confess anything to? You are obviously someone that can't live life on their own without having someone to tell you what to do and how to live. Most Elders are idiots and have an agenda...they actually think they will be a prince in the "New World." This board and sites like JWFacts has given me knowledge that I never knew existed. The only way I would ever go to the Elders is to tell them to confess their sins of misleading people and the pressure they put on those in the cong which contradicts what Christ said. Go to Christ Mankkeli and tell him your sins if you must confess anything...tell him your sorry for continuing in the lie of the WTBTS.

) your thought from what i have read is to just stay and shut your mind off.

IF you have been DF'd recently.............i want to know.....
by Lied2NoMore indo they tell you "legal requirements" of a df'd behavior?
like, you cant talk to anyone, if we hear of you talking to other members it will hurt your reinstatement, do they tell you to come late and leave early, do they tell you how to be reinstated, what kinds of things if any are covered after you are told you are being df'd????
do they tell you their basis (loose scriptural right) to take this action?

Df'd in 06. They told me it was ok to come late and leave early if I wanted. Told me to attend all the meetings but did not say anything else as what would help or hurt my chances to get reinstated.
When I turned in my letter for reinstatement they did question me about hanging out with my inactive brother. Told me they understand that I may be lonely but pretty much said that was not ok. Then they told me to keep up the good work and it would not be much longer. I think they wanted me out a year but I put my letter in after 9 months. Not long after that meeting I started researching as I was not happy they turned down my heartfelt letter. I came across this site and others...I will NEVER go back!!!

Anwar Al-Awlaki and due process any thoughts?

We are getting the outter bands of rain and some wind. The Bridge going to Carolina beach will be closed by 5:pm. Its the only way on and off the beach. I hope everyone near the coast is taking the warnings serious especially those up north where they may not be used to hurricanes.

I live in Wilmington NC. I believe we may get hit. I really hope it goes more east but its not looking good.
