johannes wrobel, the founder of the watchtower history archives in germany, responsible for the stand firm-video and the stand-firm-exhibitions resigned in november 2008 and left the german branch office.
he was also the responsible person for many of the wt sponsored websites on jw in the 'third reich'!.
there are no further details known yet but this could be big news!.

until yesterday i hadn't posted at jwd/n since august 08. now i'm back i'm wondering if i've made a mistake, it just feels like all my fight has gone, i just don't want to argue with anyone anymore.
fluff?!
that's like asking a curry addict to switch to pasta!.
This site has really changed since August.
A lot of riff-raff left when Simon announced the closing.
i guess this time of year with the holidays my thoughts gravitate to family and for me it's usually a time of reflection on how my relationships have been going with my family .
thinking about what i want to accomplish or avoid in the coming year regarding family relationships.
thus i thought of this question in my thread as a way of reflection on my life ; and thought it might help some of you reflect as well.
Definitely Improved.
Having kids helps.
Telling them their religion is BS doesn't.
who was raised a jw and went on to lead life in stark contrast to their upbringing?.
i have often thought the award should go to dwight eisenhower.
from a religion that railed against politics and warfare he first invaded western europe and then went on to become president of the united states.
Prince must make the top 10 list.
so we hadour first big meeting tonigh ( bookstudy, ministry school and service meeting ) here are my observations:.
1) even though it is the same amount of time, it seemed verrrrry long.
2) it seemed like a circus.....too many parts that did not relate to the others....seemed like a crossword puzzel with 6 different languages.
Mine was last night.
Went out to dinner instead.
Then Drank Champagne.
Then watched the ball drop.
Then set off fireworks.
My wife woke up this morning and won't admit it but realizes she celebrated New Years instead of going to a meeting.
Their coaching is not a conscience matter, it is just not a disfellowshipping matter.
I can speak from experience as I was coaching while I was VERY active.
There was nothing the elders could do except not give me "privileges".
IMO, The fact that they continue to coach proves they don't give a flip about the religion.
Keep up hope!
Oops!
Cawshun,
The fact they are involved in extra-curricular activities, such as Basketball, is probably a HUGE reason for the shepherding calls.
This is a big no-no for "God's People".
There is probably a never ending stream of gossip in the hall about this as well

"A "shepherding call" is usually an elder and MS. Two elders often means an investigation."
That is not necessarily true. If a few Elders were behind on their time or an MS was not available, you would see two elders.
If this happens every six months, my guess would be that your daughters family is either irregular at meetings or a low hour publisher.
The other factor to consider is the timing of the Circuit Overseers visit. I would bet a large amount of money that he is coming within a month.
Or just left and got reamed.
