  Are you going to your Company Holiday Party?

  mine is saturday at a nice country club... my boyfriend is taking me, though it's not his cup of tea.. he's a really great guy.. our company christmas party used to be at the omni parker house in boston...very formal.

  tonight i have an association holiday party... (csi...construction specification institute) it's being held at the ica (institute of contemporary art) in boston.

  I agree with stilla, this is big.
  
  Every month for as long as I can remember the S.O. calls my house looking for my report.
  
  I usually don't answer the phone leaving him no choice but to not report me. My wife will turn hers in late.
  
  I accidentally answered the phone a couple months ago and told him to put zero's across the board- silence on the other end of the phone.
  
  This will give them an extra 3 weeks to hound people causing a temporary spike in their numbers.

  Meeting for baptized brothers only???

  recently they made an announcement at our hall that there would be a meeting for all baptized brothers only, no matter how young or old, or whether you are serving or not.

  any baptized brother.

  one of the elders wives said there is a 45 minute outline from the branch and then another 15 minute part.

  JWs say its impossible for "worldly people" to be happy

  i've had 3 different jws tell me this over the past few weeks.

  basically their thinking is non-jws are not happy and when they appear to be its not real, its not a true happiness.

  according to them, non-jws use drugs, alcohol and wild sex to make themselves happy.

  Kingdom Hall Interiors

  so i drove by my old kingdom hall the other day and noticed that it had a for sale sign in front of it.

  this came as no surprise to me, as i knew that they recently won approval to build a new kingdom hall in a neighboring town.

  (caused a bit of a stir in town - but that's a different story).

  I forgot one other fact.
  
  The second hall that has already sold, has one congregation consolidated from two about ten years ago.
  
  The Elders were overwhelmed with their responsibilities.
  
  I guess this is Jehovah's blessing.

  They are selling this hall because they want to justify the existence of the local RBC committee.
  
  None of the local brothers are actually supporting this.- Although the elders are acting like yes-men
  
  The rest of the story is- this is the second hall being sold to build the one new one (the other hall was turned into a pagan church)
  
  It is a good sign when 2 halls close and 1 opens.
  
  This is a fact!
