it turns out this sister was divorced a few years earlier from a "worldly" man who had an affair on her.
Just to add upon TGND's comment , you generally see a lot of divorces as well because of the pressure to marry before sex, which makes JWS divorces on par with the general population in the under 25 age group.
In comparison you might see less fornication and adultery in other relgoius groups like the Amish or Mennonite

I used to be heavy drinker but not any more, its very bad for your health.
If you want an temporary uplift or help in sleeping, some alleviation with pain, I'd suggest some edible marijuana.
You'll temporarily be happy, you wont be a mouthy out of control asshole to others, you wont wake up the next morning and feel like shit with a hangover.

The bible eventually became an open book of self interpretation, that's why there are hundreds of Christian based sects in existence today.
Self interpretation is how these sects came to be such as the JWS, this sect was built and expanded by literature proliferation, where the leaders self interpreted the bible for themselves, which happen to involve a publishing house they owned and operated.
The model is such, create your own interpretation then coerce and lure in others to believe these unique interpretations, demean all other interpretations or doctrines and you have a structured organized religion ie, JWS

It should also be kept in mind that JWS kingdom halls as well conventions are places of meeting and socializing where people of the opposite sex are evaluating and perhaps seeking out partners........not surprising

During the late 1960's and 1970's there was a lot of fornication and adultery going on, not in just my Hall but the closest one as well.
As a guess this might have been because of the sexaul revolution era and the high number of young baby boomers at the time.
Today you might expect less of that because the age demographic in most JW Kingdom Halls which are made up of more older people.
As an example the PO in my Hall was a married guy with 3 kids, he traveled out town to do some business and while he was away from the family he was boinking young girls who he met at other JWS congregations.
He was eventuality caught and got DFed, this brought so much anguish to his family they moved away, really felt sorry for rest of the family.

it's been a while since i posted here, but i feel like posting again.. it's hard sometimes to find the energy to post here after i expend all my time working a full time job and pretending i care about the wt$ at the same time.. i've been trying to slowly wake my girlfriend up ever since i first posted here, and i must say it is a long waiting game that i am playing right now.
almost all my efforts are dismissed and i've been slowly losing hope.. anyways, what i meant to really post here today is about old publications.. honestly anything that has to do with the watchtower and jdubs, as of recently makes me feel like vomiting.
Burn them all except maybe the bible as it is useful as a historical reference to how ancient civilizations behaved/thought.

Yes of course when one applies intellectual honesty with today's knowledge base of ancient civilizations.
This is to be expected since these stories were mythological expressions by people who had no other avenue to explain what was happening on earth and toward themselves at that time, god(s) gave that necessary answer or explanation..

Unfortunately alcohol abuse is a problem within JWS , there is a lot oppression imposed upon JWS but the one thing they can do at least is booze it up. ........and they booze it religiously.
