i`ll list a few things and welcome any input, comments you may have .. 1.when adam & eve "sinned" disobeyed him, surely god could have handled it better than to condemn all future generations to disease and death ?.
2.his handling of satan who supposedly seduced eve to disobey god could also have been done a lot differently with a finality to it.. 3.i find little if anything in his dealings with the patriarchs that suggests a loving god protecting them.?.
4.taking on the nation of israel and leading them as his chosen people does not inspire confidence or trust as a god of love.. 5.throughout the hebrew scriptures / old testament his chosen people were constantly at war with other nations which of course would have meant many deaths of the israelite`s during these battles .and the grief that comes with family members in those times.
Finkelstein, Jehovah God will send Jesus and the angels for that job.
So god is still a god of love when he sends his son and angels to burn people alive killing off most of humanity .
When he said he wouldn't kill people by drowning humanity like he did in Noah's flood, that's a indication of an act of love for sure.

The god of the ancient Hebrews (YHWH) murdered innocent people within his own chosen civilization as well other civilizations who had worshiped other gods.

There is no question the men who built up the WTS/JWS were looking out for themselves in their endeavors, to lure people to the literature and the organization which they used tactics of coercion, exploitation and manipulation .
The American government opened the door for these men to do just that.

As I've said before the leaders of the Watchtower Corporation were all novice bible theologians who just happened to run their own publishing house.
Most of the doctrine they created were devised and used to enhance the proliferation of their literature they wrote and published, they were simply crooked and corrupt charlatans.

If the economy remains closed more people will die from suicide and starvation than Coronavirus would ever kill.
I think what what this statement is saying is that people who lose their jobs and are starting to lose their homes and possessions, could start a trend of suicides out of hopelessness, particularly in countries like Italy where that country was hit especially hard.

Just because Mormons men and woman, dont go out door to door proselytizing doesn't mean they are not registered and accounted church going Mormons.
That's the point your missing.
You could say the JWS have more publishers theoretically, that doesn't mean they have an equal amount of practicing members than what the Mormon faith has.

Ive always maintained there isn’t a lot of differences in numbers between the two faiths.
Wrong there are 1.2 million JWS in the US, there are 6.5 million Mormons in the US.
The differences between the two religions is that the JWS are spread out over many countries where the LDS is not.
Mormons have 15 million world wide.
Being that the JWS have been proselytizing door to door for new members since 1935 it should be accepted the JWS growth rate over all is an utter failure in luring in new members to the religion.

You think anyone is going to listen for hour about the Mormon growth rate in the last 20 years ?
I think why the JWS growth is slower in most cases is that many practicing JWS drop out of the organization meaning a poor retention rate.

back in the 1960s , fred franz and n.h knorr were the only men that counted.
after franz died, the governing body became more of an idolized entity.
Maybe not Min but they wouldn't openly say so in front of another JWS, when your in a cult like this the members are well aware what could happen if they did.
