  How was it possible that some members fall asleep or nod off during meetings?

  a while back, we had a saturday wedding reception for a brother and sister from our kingdom hall.

  the reception ended at midnight.

  most of us got home at around 1:00 a.m. our sunday public talk meeting started at 9:30 a.m. .

  jehovah's witnesses weren't jehovah's witnesses until 1931.until that year the people who had been hard-headed followers of end times false prophecies by william miller and seventh day adventists, more or less settled into following charisma-ballyhoo preaching by folks like "pastor" c.t.

  russell.what was it that attracts these people?

  it is a thin veneer of pious bible interpretation as a means of prepping for the end of the world.yep.

  When you think about it JWS are just in a endeavoring state of reiteration emulating the bible's documented expressions of human ignorance.

  Like the apparent existence of human ignorance which existed 3 thousand years ago never happened at all.

  Yet we have so much more knowledge of what happened in those ancient times, why the people then thought about the active world in which they lived and why they thought those things.

  To them the gods in the heavens were responsible to what happened here on earth, which to their understanding directly effected them.

  Religions like the JWS are actively embracing the fear, ignorance and superstition of those ancient people to the determent and folly to themselves and perhaps to the rest of humanity living today.

  The WTS/JWorg will no doubt use this event to show mankind is living in the last days.

  You can bet on it.

  Of course they wont honestly come forward with the fact that mankind has gone through serious plagues before going right back to biblical times, but fear is something useful to these guys because they know they can psychologically control people by implying and imposing fear.

  The WTS/JWorg knows fear and ignorance are exploitable commodities for them, for they can mentally entrap people in this manner to get these ones to serve their own means and purpose .

  “I’m young and healthy so coronavirus won’t affect me” (why we need to stop this disease at ALL costs!)

  even if you are young and heathy there are very good reasons to fear this disease and take drastic actions to avoid it individually, and halt it together as communities.

  not only would it be traumatic as a society to lose so many old and unwell family members and friends, but survivors of the disease may suffer significant health problems in the future.

  survivors of the first sars virus in 2003 have suffered significant lung problems.

  Let's say Canada has had 5000 cases. What is the death rate now.

  As of today there has only been 244 cases in Canada confirmed with only one death.

  It would be conceivable to assume the death rate will rise as the confirmed cases rise but it does show this virus is not an absolute death sentence to those who catch it and catching it to date is a social improbability.

  She would be considered spiritually weak but sexually strong.

  The elder bothers would most likely counsel her then go home sexually stimulated and bounce their wife's.

  possible cancelling the memorial after years of experiences of bro/sis under nazi , communist oppression and many other countries still conducting the memorial under threat of death that the governing body is listening to the superior authorities regarding this virus pandemic.. could it be that after taking control of the k/halls that the branch/governing body would be responsible for any disobedience to the civil authorities and liable for any deaths.. they would have left upto the local body of elders and encouraged obedience to god rather than men and a lack of faith in jehovah to protect his people..

  Some congregations might have 200 show up for the memorial, so putting people together in close proximity might not be a good idea, add in the passing of the emblems, wine glasses and emblems being touched and retouched.

  A lot of JWS are indeed elderly now, including the top GB leaders.

  The GB men got together and said .... " Hey guys we are the anointed so that means we have to touch and pass on the unleavened bread and the wine that other people have touched, what are we going to do about that ?
  

  The replies were ..... " Screw that, I'm not touching anything that others have touched, even here at Bethel, some of you guys may have the virus too, particularly you brother Morris you and your drinking habits.

  Ok Ok, why dont we do it while wearing plastic surgical gloves and when one of us drinks the wine and eats the bread we toss it into the garbage right after and we pour a new glass and place some new bread on a plate.

  Ok I'm cool with that but we dont sit close to each other, one chair apart during the the talk and the passing of the emblems.

  Ok what about the rest of the brothers and sisters all around the world, what should they do ?

  Ahh screw them, they wont know about what we are doing anyways, it will be just are own private event, Jehovah would want it this way since we are his special chosen ones. ..........right !

  Yes of course we need to stop this virus from spreading and find a possible cure but we also need to be rational, balanced and sensible about the matter, not over strung with fear and anxiety like we are JWS living in the year 1975.
  

  Over stressing people actually weakens your immune system, which might make the contact and receiving of the virus worse for people.

  Scientists are actually coming closer to a vaccination here in Canada and in China as well.
