yes many of us here were false prophets parroting the wts/gb/jworg's false teachings for years.

"new lite" = time ran out... has anyone noticed how the wts keeps quoting genesis 6:3, the scripture on a generation lasting 120 years?

they did it again in yesterdays wt study.

The organization is now in a bit self marketing quagmire, for nothing has really happened since 1914 as they said it would,

generations have passed on and we are now coming to whole century since that particular year.

I'm personally guessing that the WTS. will drop the year all together or try moving the year up a few more years as time progresses.

Moving the goal posts up a few years has always worked in the past, so expect the same in the future.

It takes some honest inquisitiveness to see the lies and corruption of this organization, but its there if you have some level of intelligence.

And yes I do expect the WTS will try expanding on a generation meaning 120 years, its but one of little options it has now

or drop 1914 all together. They might even say that people lived longer in ancient times to support this assertion.

Isn't interesting to note that after a set and established date passes and nothing happens that some how a new date come forth as well put into print.

1914 will be dropped by the WTS. eventually but a new godly approved date will surely appear, no doubt being described as New Light.

and you acted to seize the opportunity---nobody would blame you for taking the plunge.. if i assured you....reassured you....repeatedly that the payoff and reward was "any day now" you might well hang in there for a long time.. .

but, at a certain point, your patience and trust would wear thin and a serious request for proof of legitimacy would hang heavy in the air.. .

In the United States, religious bullshitting is legal and can obviously be quite profitable. $$$

In spite of the fact that the US, Canadian and UK branches of the organization post financial surpluses of 60 to 70 million

in recent years, the WTS. will let it sit in banks creating interest and wont help the most needy in society,

even to ones who worked so hard all their lives for the organizations, thats quite the immoral unethical fraud in itself.

And they still hold their hands out for more, even asking to put debt on peoples credit cards or wills when they die .......Shameful

i had posted a few comments on cedars sparlock song on youtube.

mostly that i didnt feel that parents should manipulate their children into behaving.

i also didnt think parents had the right to raise thier children in such a crazy restrictive way.

Please don't be so judgmental of people who love their children very much and only want the best for them.

Thats why responsible and intelligent loving parents try to keep their children away from lying, devious, exploitive and controlling

religious cults like the JWS in the first place.

Why would anybody with sane intelligence show a book such as the bible to a child with all of heinous acts of murder, rape, slavery,

brutality, sexual perversion etc. ????

All sanctified and approved by the Loving heavenly father himself and actually instrumented by himself upon humanity.

Are there strategies for attending a DC while DF?

my 19 yr/old little brother who just got df'd a couple weeks ago is being forced to attend the dc by my family he still lives with.

anyone have experience with this that might have creative advise?

he is very social and this is going to break his heart.

If he's got a smart phone, tell him to put it between a bible, connect it to some ears phones and hide the wires under his shirt.

Tell his parents that he's going to sit somewhere in the higher sections so that he's not bothered by anyone, now being DFed.

of course everyone knows about the news of the candace conti child abuse case which has gone viral , ( one would have to live in a cave, under a rock, or another planet not to know about it ).

that being said - it may very well be that those jehovah's witnesses who do not use the internet, or read newspapers, or in simple english are neanderthal's, still living in the 19th century or before , out of fear of negative reprisal from wt authorities may have not even heard about this case because they are in the habit of not watching the news or using the internet.. so- with those particular type of people in mind my son flipper jr. & myself decided to print up about 20 copies of the candace conti child abuse lawsuit from the england daily mail issue , here's the link : http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2160605/candance-conti-molested-jehovahs-witnesses-member-age-nine-wins-28milion.html?ito=feeds-newsxml .. so what we did is since we are doing some out of town jobs in several counties we figured we'd leave these child abuse news releases under jw car windshields at kingdom halls while they are out in field service.

we left about 15 so far at 3 different kingdom halls under car windshields .

The focusing point should be ... Why did the organization cover up these heinous acts by some of their members

only to give them a DFing or sometimes nothing at all ?

Was the sole reason to protect the outward public image of the organization, similar to what the Catholic religion had done ?

The answer should be obvious.

C T Russell always had the mind of a salesman, whatever he found or conjure up to allure attention to his products which

had become published pieces of religious literature, from men's and woman's cloths he would use.

He really used his freedom of religious self expression to his own advantage, even though he was not formally trained as a bible

theologian. Even if these dates were established through fallible mistakes or deliberate unethical corruption, it still creates

an even more plausible question as to why would god choose this organization if they were ?

1914 was a marketing scheme for the WTS. , the WTS. actually used that year prior as the start of Armageddon in the late 1800's.

You could say when the GB members see the hundreds of millions the organization has control over, in realization there is a no refund policy

on the money they received from people, this money and power creating scheme worked out well.

Amazing things people will do when their own life is put into subjective peril, of course the WTS. has always known that.
