  Questions about the '89 WT change

  this is in reference to the '89 wt with the change from the individual issue to the bound volume that originally said the preaching work would be completed by the end of the 20th century.

  my question is: are there bound volumes of the '89 wt that were printed prior to 2000 that do not contain the change?

  or does anyone know where i could get an original issue of the individual '89 mag?

  I have a bound volume that contains the change. I just want to have evidence in my library of what the WT originally said.

  During the recent storms that swept parts of the U.S. a pioneer sister was at a get-together. "I felt very safe since there were so many pioneers there," she said. "After all, if we were all swept away, how would the preaching work get done?" This was said half-jokingly but the self-righteousness was still apparent. (Privately this sister has admitted to being depressed lately, though a full-time preacher). Meanwhile a few Witnesses in a nearby area were killed by the storm. Of course, they must be inactive by this manner of reasoning.

  someone told my wife that the myspace site is bad.

  Someone told my wife that the myspace site is bad. They said it will be brought out more in the upcoming assemblies. A lot of Dubs have gotten themselves in trouble on the site. So now if I mention myspace my wife automatically responds, "I thought myspace is bad!" To which I reply, "Anything can be misused and turned into something bad. It all depends on what you're using it for." Right now I'm enjoying the new karaoke feature on myspace. Have you heard some of these performances? Hilarious! And can you believe how things can get a bad rap by the borg without using any reasoning ability at all? Oh yeah... I guess you can believe that.

Surely things got worse and a tornado came and blew me away for my heresy right? Nope, strangely enough the wind died down and life went on. How can this be?
